Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, has some disturbing skeletons in her family wardrobe.
Her political roots in Nazi Germany account for the insane war-driven agenda of the European Union toward Russia under her stewardship and her total subservience to the U.S. imperialist objective to defeat Moscow.
Author Evan Reif explains how her politician-father Ernst Albrecht packed his regional government with unreconstructed Nazis and former Wehrmacht officers when he was governor of Lower Saxony in the 1980s.
Ursula von der Leyen’s family derived much of its industrial wealth from working closely with Hitler’s Third Reich. Her aristocratic family was also married into slave-owning cotton planters in the American South.
That legacy of inherited wealth not only benefited Ursula’s elite education but also her precocious rise in German politics. She became the German defense minister from 2013-2019 despite having no formal background in the military. Under her watch, the German army was massively rearmed and she also became mired in corruption scandals.
At the end of 2019, she was appointed President of the European Commission, the top political post in the European Union. This was done without a vote from the German parliament such was the lack of confidence in her eligibility.
She has spearheaded the US-led NATO proxy war in Ukraine against Russia with remarkably hawkish anti-Russian rhetoric. Her zeal for pursuing hostility toward Russia is consistent with the Nazi ideology her father indulged in.
Ursula von der Leyen has shown an astounding “ability” to “fail upwards”, as Evan Reif wryly points out. The only explanation for such undue political ascent despite her incompetence, plagiarism, and corruption, is the help of a powerful network – the transatlantic U.S.-led NATO alliance and its intelligence agencies.
The disturbing upshot is that Europe is being led into a disastrous war against Russia in the service of US-European imperialism – euphemistically called “Western values” – by a person who is a scion of Nazi legacy and politics and who does not have a democratic mandate.
Eight decades after the end of World War II and the defeat of Hitler’s Third Reich, the imperialist objective of conquering Russia is alive again. Should we be surprised though, when we look at the odious political background of the European Commission’s president?

At the end of July 1942, he succeeded him Otto Bauer to the district captain in Lemberg-Land district in the Galician district, who was the district governor there Otto Wächter. URSULA’S FATHER INVOLVED IN THE FAMOUS CELLE HOLE FALSE FLAG OPERATION
Celle Hole (German: Celler Loch) was a breach in the outer wall of the prison of Celle, Germany. First used on July 25, 1978, the name was part of a campaign by one of the West German secret services (Landesbehörde für Verfassungsschutz) and the GSG 9 in an attempt to lay blame on the Red Army Faction, West Germany’s most active and prominent left-wing terrorist group. However, the incident was revealed in 1986 to be a plot by the government, a false flag operation, much to the embarrassment of the government. The Verfassungsschutz used the name ‘Operation Fire Magic’ (German: Aktion Feuerzauber).
The secret services used a stolen Mercedes-Benz SL (R107), driven by two criminals named Klaus-Dieter Loudil and Manfred Berger who were recruited by the secret services. In the car were forged passports, one of them with a photograph of Sigurd Debus. Serial numbers of the passports showed that they were stolen from German authorities. Mr. Debus was an inmate in the Celle prison. He was considered as a Red Army Faction terrorist suspect. Some tools to be used for a prison escape attempt were brought secretly to Debus’ prison cell by the secret services.
The action should have had taken place one night earlier when twelve secret service officers, one GSG 9 demolition squad officer and Jürgen Wiehe, a civil servant in the Ministry of the Interior of the state of Lower Saxony, waited for the right moment to detonate the bomb on July 24. But they had to interrupt the action since two lovers coming from the nearby funfair entered the danger area. So the action was deferred.
On July 25, 1978, at 2.54 a.m., the bomb was detonated at the outer prison wall, but caused minor damage. No inmate was able to escape. The Mercedes was later caught in Salzgitter (80 km away) in a police roadblock, with the driver having already escaped. The false passports and some ammunition were found in the car.
In Celle, a 1.5 square meter hole, named the Celle Hole (Celler Loch), was left in the outer prison wall. A handgun, model Walther PPK 7.65, which was the official pistol of one of the secret service officers, as well as a rubber dinghy, were found. The Celle prison is situated close to the bank of the river Aller. After the detonation, Debus’ conditions of detention were aggravated “for security reasons”. The secret service had planted escape tools into Debus’ cell, which were found in the search after the attack, and was supposed to prove Debus’ participation. Hence, the detainee started a hunger strike as a protest against this. Sigurd Debus died on April 16, 1981 shortly before the scheduled date of his discharge from prison
Ernst Albrecht testified before the eleventh committee of inquiry of the parliament, which is to clarify the background of the explosives attack on the Celler prison staged by the Lower Saxony Constitutional Protection on 25 July 1978. Albrecht testified for two and a half hours, since then it has been established that his government statement on the “Celler Loch” and a later government report are not in agreement.

According to a new blockbuster book, tapes of Bill Clinton’s steamy phone sex with Monica Lewinsky posed a threat to national security and resulted in a not-so-subtle ‘blackmail’ attempt by the Prime Minister of Israel, who used the torrid exchanges to try to ‘convince’ the President to secure the release of an American spying for the Israelis.
The book, Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine by Weekly Standard editor Daniel Halper, has been described as ‘scrupulously researched’ and ‘juicy’.
The contents of this latest tome about the ultimate power couple have been widely leaked and have already been the subject of numerous news reports.
Halper reports evidence that not only the Israelis but also the British and Russians had ‘scooped up’ the microwaves off the top of the White House and taped Clinton’s phone sex conversations with Monica – and perhaps other women.
Caught on tape: According to the author of the blockbuster new book Clinton, Inc., who had exclusive access to files compiled by Monica Lewinsky’s team of advisers, phone sex conversations between the intern and Preident Clinton were intercepted by the British, the Russians and the Israelis
The book’s contents were leaked to dozens of journalists about 10 days before its official launch date today.
According to allegations in the book, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the tapes to try to persuade Clinton to release Jonathan Pollard, an American caught and jailed for spying for Israel.
Clinton lobbied for Pollard’s release but his attempts were ultimately thwarted by CIA Director George Tenet.
That bombshell and scores of others – some amusing, some alarming – are part of hundreds of pages of allegations compiled by a team of lawyers and investigators working for Monica Lewinsky and viewed exclusively by Halper.
The so-called ‘Monica Files’, chronicling the dalliances and misdeeds of Clinton, were assembled for the hapless White House intern after the public outing of their affair in case she might be drawn into legal action against the President.
In what a source of Halper’s dubs a ‘death by a thousand cuts’ operation, more leaks from the documents are likely to get into the hands of Republican operatives as the 2016 election approaches.
On March 29, 1997, Clinton summoned Monica to the Oval Office. He had something ‘important’ to tell her. The president was on crutches, having fallen down the steps outside golfer Greg Norman’s house in Florida.

Clinton hobbled into the study outside the Oval Office where the couple had oral sex, Halper reports. This was to be the last time the couple had sex.
Then, as recounted by Halper from The Monica Files, the President told Monica he had something ‘important’ to discuss.
‘We may have been overheard’, he said, referring, no doubt, to the frequent phone sex exchanges between the President and the White House intern.
Monica said she didn’t know what he was talking about and couldn’t imagine how anyone could overhear them.
Clinton doesn’t really answer her. He only responds, ‘If anybody ever says anything about the calls I’ve made to you, tell them we were just joking.’
After the affair was made public and prosecutors questioned Monica, she told them that Clinton ‘knew their calls were being monitored all along, and the phone-sex was just a put-on.’
But Monica’s canny investigative team learned that the monitoring of calls was the real deal.
Strong arm: Israeli Prime Minister used the tapes of Clinton’s phone sex conversations to try to win release for a jailed spy, the book claims. Clinton tried to ‘accommodate,’ but failed. The tapes were never released
Then, as reported in the book, at a meeting held in October 1998 near Wye River, Maryland, Prime Minister Netanyahu pulled Clinton aside and revealed that the Israelis had listened to Clinton Monica’s sex talk, and assured the President that they ‘threw away the tapes’. But the apparent quid pro quo was that Clinton would arrange for the release of Jonathan Pollard who was convicted of spying for Israelis and a cause celeb for the country.
While government officials in either country would not confirm the nature of Israeli eavesdropping, Halper reports there is ample evidence to support Monica’s story. In the end however, not willing to risk the wrath of his national security team, Clinton pulled back on his effort to free the spy.
‘Foreign spies weren’t the only ones who knew about the couple’s phone sex.’
The author says Clinton also had phone sex with other women while on presidential trips, including one visit to the Seychelles.
It was an open secret that the British government listened in on conversations on the island.
The details of Monica’s phone sex with Clinton were not only known by foreign spies. Monica shared the juicy details with some of her confidantes, according to papers viewed by the author in The Monica Files.
Halper reports on a conversation Monica had with a friend, in which she asks if a man calls a woman for sex isn’t it usual for him to ask what the woman is wearing.
Referring to Clinton, Monica admits, ‘Well, he would say what HE was wearing’.
Monica revealed to her friend that in their sex talk, the President would describe what he was wearing as he pleasured himself, usually a gray University of Arkansas sweatshirt and what he called his ‘blue tighties.’
In another bombshell reportedly uncovered by Monica’s team, a woman, then a student at a university in California, claimed that she met a young Bill Clinton when he returned from his studies in England as a Rhodes scholar. She described a disturbing encounter with the man who would be president.

The couple dated once, Halper reports, and then they met up again at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. According to Lewinsky’s team they went to a wooded section of the park, where the future president pushed her to the ground and tried to have sex with her.
She ‘scratched and kicked’ him and managed to get away. Halper reports no charges were filed against Clinton.
Incredibly, decades later, the woman heard from the then Governor of Arkansas, according to Monica’s dossier, to tell her he was running for President and ask for her support.
‘The Monica Files also reveal the President used the White House theatre, just steps away from the First Lady’s offices, for many of his trysts.’
She said she would, but the woman believed the call was ‘a blatant attempt’ to find out if she would reveal anything about the assault in San Francisco, Halper reports.

According to the files, claims Halper, aides were willing to open up to Monica’s people about Bill’s indiscretions as long as their identities were kept secret.
In 1994, Halper reports that during his first term in office, Clinton called his close friend David Pryor, then a US senator from Arkansas to brag about his latest conquest, a pop icon. Pryor couldn’t help but be incredulous that not only would Clinton have the gall to have such a potentially explosive liaison, but actually boast about it.

Pryor called the singer’s agent to put a stop to the dangerous relationship. ‘I don’t tell her what to do,’ the agent replied.
According to the book. the incorrigible Clinton had no shame about his womanizing. ‘When I was in high school I was a fat kid in overalls and now all the women want to f*** me,’ he told his Yale classmate Mack McLarty, Halper reports.
Another insider tells Halper, ‘Everybody you think he f*****, he did – and the more dangerous the better.
The insider continues, ‘All genius is flawed. The great artists are addicted….His addiction is p****.’
Halper reports on some of the women Clinton supposedly bedded. The first African-American Miss Arkansas, Lencola Sullivan, was named as Clinton’s alleged mistress during the Monica Lewinsky investigation. Sullivan refused to confirm or deny any previous romantic relationship with the former president to the author.
Halper reports that actresses Gina Gershon and Elizabth Hurley, Eleanor Mondale, the daughter of the former vice president Walter Mondale and Barbra Streisand were also on Clinton’s hit list.
Hillary was able to look the other way…until Monica.
She was furious about Monica, Halper says, but not for the reasons one might expect.
‘It wasn’t that he was f****** someone else. It was that he got caught and so rubbed her nose in it,’ a senior Clinton aide told Halper.
The volatility of their relationship was confirmed in Halper’s book. According to one source of Halper’s, screaming matches and throwing things like lamps ‘really did happen’.

His fling with Monica benefited Hillary greatly, according to Halper, first because she was able to use it to her advantage as the wronged wife winning the sympathy of potential women voters as she contemplated a possible Senate race in New York.
But even more importantly, It resulted in a significant shift in the balance of power between the couple. Never exactly the obedient wife, Hillary was deeply in love with her husband and was willing to play second fiddle.
At a public event, reports the author, Hillary would depart before Bill, waiting for him in the presidential limo. After a short while, she would send someone to fetch her husband, but Bill would purposely stay an extra fifteen minutes.
She was trying to control Bill but Bill wasn’t having it. But after Monica the dynamic changed.
‘Hillary was no longer the one in constant pursuit of Bill’s love and attention. He now needed her in a way he never did before,’ Halper concludes.
Halper contends that the couple now live ‘comfortably’ and ‘happily’ as they lead separate lives – and separate bedrooms. Even while they were in the White House they hadn’t shared the same bedroom in seven years.

Mankind uses the mobile phone as a shovel to dig its own grave. With very rare exceptions of conscious users. If you want to be one of them, you need to be informed and aware of how this thing works and how our enemies use it against us. And in order to become so, you need, among other things, to fully absorb what I’m about to show you.
Perceptive people over 40 years old have often sensed a rift in the logic of events last few years. The powers that be occasionally commit apparently illogical and inexplicable acts, that later make sense in relation with other later events . Like a present response to unpredictable future events. Which is also illogical, unless they have a time-travelling machine, another illogical concept. So we often erase these senselessly convoluted connections from our minds just to maintain sanity.
The mind-trap there is the assumption of unpredictability.
Pre-scripted events and predictive programming are two ways to solve the predictability problem. But sometimes these don’t work either and there’s just no way you can draw a straight timeline and causality.
What if you don’t need to time-travel to see the future?
What if they can simulate it, then build it and tune it up? Which means they can react to what you would’ve done if they didn’t REACT BEFORE THE CAUSE? Remember those stories in media where morons get arrested for resisting arrest and they are too dumb to defend themselves. Add a topping of Minority Report for good taste. And to soften the edges, what if they just can control your edge perception? Here’s how:

A powerful ‘sentient’ computer simulation of billions of people and nations that ‘mirrors’ reality is up-and-running and likely tracking your every move

What if someone created a digital avatar of you and placed it in a massive simulation database –- and you knew nothing about it?
How would you feel about that?
Yes, while you are blissfully ignorant and unaware and just going about your normal life, your “simulated self” is now also going about its own life in a simulated global environment with most of the other eight billion other people inside a simulated planet earth.
Well, what if I were to tell you that this has already happened?
It has!
The server for this world simulation database –- that includes your avatar -– is actually located in (drumroll): Indiana!
That’s right!
It’s called the Sentient World Simulation (SWS). It is up and running, and housed in a building at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
The SWS is the brainchild of Dr. Alok R. Chaturvedi, a professor of information systems who is also the founder and director of the SEAS Laboratory at Purdue’s Krannert School of Management.
SEAS stands for Synthetic Environment and Analysis Simulations.
Dr. Chaturvedi outlined his concept for the SWS in a 2006 academic paper titled:
From the abstract of this document, the concept is explained this way:
“The goal of the Sentient World Simulation (SWS) is to build a synthetic mirror of the real world with automated continuous calibration with respect to current real-world information, such as major events, opinion polls, demographic statistics, economic reports, and shifts in trends.”
I should add that the “geography” of an area is modeled at multiple levels, including city, state, country, selected regions of interest and, of course, globally. Some categories for models include military, political, social, economic, informational and infrastructure nodes.
After publishing his 2006 concept paper, it didn’t take long for the thing to get up and running. By 2007, the SWS had already collected massive amounts of data in 62 of the 195 nations on Earth.
It is important to point out that the SWS is a project that was initiated by the U.S. Joint Forces Command.
Some believe, as does futurist Rebecca Hardcastle Wright Ph.D., that SWS has since advanced well beyond 62 countries in the 15 years since 2007 to now encompass most areas of the planet that matter and has swept up the majority of Earth’s 8-billion-person population.
IT’S NOT QUITE ‘THE MATRIX’ YET BUT …
Now let me clarify that your avatar in the SWS is not (probably not yet) a complete duplicate of yourself in terms of image or looks, and it does not possess self-aware consciousness as did Neo and his pals in the Matrix.
It is significant to note that the SWS team at Purdue maintains that they “do not create your identical likeness” and instead used a “depersonalized likeness.” They also say this depersonalized likeness is “not immediately identifiable” and “cannot be replicated.”
Even so, many may find it equally disturbing that each avatar in the SWS virtual reality universe does represent a thorough activity profile of who you are and what you are doing in the real world.
That’s because you are likely “feeding” your avatar every day whether you know it or not.
You do that by participating in the digital world. Every time you engage with cyberspace, the SWS vacuums up that data point and adds it to the profile of your avatar.
For example, when you make a purchase on Amazon, search for something on Google, do your taxes online, text a friend, pay a utility bill, use a debit card to pay for a meal at a restaurant –- that information is funneled to the SWS and your avatar is updated to reflect your ongoing lifestyle.
This creates a “predictive model” of you and tells SWS operators how you are likely to react in certain situations as well as how you will perform or act in a group dynamic situation.
WHY WAS THE SENTIENT WORLD SIMULATION BUILT?
Well …
Remember when former NSA computer consultant Edward Snowden went rogue in 2013 and fled to Hong Kong and then to the Russian Federation along with a treasure trove of highly classified intelligence files on the NSA’s massive global surveillance program?
This surveillance program involved mostly tapping and monitoring millions, if not billions of telephones and internet communication accounts. The overt rationale for the creation of this program was for counterterrorism.
Ostensibly, the NSA wanted to be able to identify terrorist chatter across the telecom and cybernetwork bandwidth as a way to identify and thwart possible major attacks against American interests.

Snowden bolted because of the NSA’s ability to tap and monitor private citizens and everyday innocent Americans a fundamental violation of privacy, unconstitutional and the start of a bona fide “Big Brother” nightmare state.
Well, one might consider the SWS the next logical step. It is the NSA wiretap effort on steroids.
With this new system, the information gathering on all citizens of the world can go well beyond listening into their phone chatter, texting or email communications.
Rather, it collects a wide range of data points that essentially provides a complete profile of every person, including what they do, what they like, how they act in certain situations, and so on.
When all this information is dumped into one massive database –- in this case, an actual simulation program –- you not only have real-time data on every individual in every nation on earth -– you also now can massage the data in myriad useful ways.
That includes running gaming simulations on how vast populations will react to specific situations.
For example, let’s say the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) would like to know how the population of the East Coast would react if they knew an enemy had released a deadly virus into the subway system of New York City.
The DoD folks would be eager to “game the scenario” of a bioweapons attack before it happened to that they, in turn, could formulate an effective response by knowing with a high degree of certainty how large populations of people would react.
As Dr. Chaturvedi writes in his concept paper:
“The ability of a synthetic model of the real world to sense, adapt, and react to real events distinguishes SWS from the traditional approach of constructing a simulation to illustrate a phenomenon. Behaviors emerge in the SWS mirror world and are observed much as they are observed in the real world.”
WHO USES SWS DATA?
As you might expect, the SWS has no lack of eager clients consisting of powerful government agencies, private entities and Fortune 500 companies. A short (and by far not exhaustive) list includes:

· The U.S. Department of Justice
· Eli Lilly
· Lockheed Martin
· The U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Furthermore, SWS has found customers in everything from banks and financial institutions that use it to test psyop events — to Hollywood studios who want to “game out” audience reactions to proposed movie scripts and ideas.
The above is according to Hardcastle Wright in her book 2021 book, Exoconscious Humans. She also said the SWS was used to simulate a cough spreading inside an airplane during the height of COVID. (Exoconscious Humans, Page 160).

IS THERE PUBLIC OUTRAGE?
There is some, but as far as I can tell, those sounding an alarm about the intrusiveness of the SWS are few and far between.
One person who is disturbed by the existence of the SWS is software specialist and cryptocurrency advocate Alireza Beikverdi. He wrote in a 2015 article for Cointelegraph.com:
“The project is dangerous and intrusive enough that one of its researchers even quit, citing concerns about the possibility of handing over such a dangerous weapon to a top-secret agency with little accountability.” (Source)
Beikverdi added:
“This not only invades our privacy but can also cause severe damage to society. Knowing that there is a copy of each of us in the virtual world, which can think and behave like us, and whose actions can be predicted by the authorities is a far more intimidating invasion. This will have a negative impact on societies by reducing trust between citizens and government, as well as among people — altering normal human behavior since the populace will be conscious of the fact that there is a copy of them in a virtual world without their consent.” (Source)
Others grumble about the SWS but also express a sense of inevitability. One example is the commentators over at the Everywhere You Go is Bullsh*t webcast. In this video, they state:
“As our lives move online, this (the SWS) is an inevitable part of that. We all want that feeling of safety and this kind of thing provides … and we allowed this to happen. I think as more people become aware that this is the reality of this intense kind of privacy breach is happening, I think eventually we are going to accept it and it is going to get worse — or there will be some kind of rebellion about it and it’s going to be a pretty interesting future.”
ONLY SCRATCHING THE SURFACE
Certainly, the existence of the Sentient World Simulation project at Purdue University has profound implications in and of itself.
However, in conducting research for this story, I quickly found myself drawn into a much deeper and more complex rabbit hole.
When you place the SWS into context with other current facets driving other kinds of technological determinism — such as the race toward fully self-conscious AI, the cybernetic manipulation/transformation of the human body, the transhumanism movement writ large — it becomes apparent that SWS is but one aspect of a rapidly evolving human sphere of fundamental transformations.
Thus, even if you loathe the idea of the SWS and want to implement social and/or political efforts to slow it down or kill it — you’ll be up against an array of technological/social initiatives of profound scope, character, variety and purpose.
Can anyone stop it, or even opt out? That won’t be easy.
CIA’s Gus Hunt On Big Data: We ‘Try To Collect Everything And Hang On To It Forever’
NEW YORK — The CIA’s chief technology officer outlined the agency’s endless appetite for data in a far-ranging speech on Wednesday.
Speaking before a crowd of tech geeks at GigaOM’s Structure:Data conference in New York City, CTO Ira “Gus” Hunt said that the world is increasingly awash in information from text messages, tweets, and videos — and that the agency wants all of it.
“The value of any piece of information is only known when you can connect it with something else that arrives at a future point in time,” Hunt said. “Since you can’t connect dots you don’t have, it drives us into a mode of, we fundamentally try to collect everything and hang on to it forever.”
Hunt’s comments come two days after Federal Computer Week reported that the CIA has committed to a massive, $600 million, 10-year deal with Amazon for cloud computing services. The agency has not commented on that report, but Hunt’s speech, which included multiple references to cloud computing, indicates that it does indeed have interest in storage and analysis capabilities on a massive scale.
The CIA is keenly interested in capabilities for so-called “big data” — the increasingly massive data sets created by digital technology. The agency even has a page on its website pitching big data jobs to prospective employees.
Hunt acknowleded that at some scale, data storage becomes impractical, adding that he meant “forever being in quotes” when he said the agency wants to keep data “forever.” But he also indicated that he was interested in computing capabilities like 1 petabyte of RAM, a massive capacity for on-the-fly calculations that has heretofore been seen only in computers that simulate nuclear explosions.
He referenced the failure to “connect the dots” in the case of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “underwear bomber” who was able to board a plan with an explosive device despite repeated warnings of his intentions. In that case, a White House review found that the CIA had all of the data it needed to identify the would-be bomber, but still failed to stop him. Nevertheless, the agency does not seem to have curbed its ambitions for an endless amount of data.

“It is really very nearly within our grasp to be able to compute on all human generated information,” Hunt said. After that mark is reached, Hunt said, the agency would also like to be able to save and analyze all of the digital breadcrumbs people don’t even know they are creating.
“You’re already a walking sensor platform,” he said, nothing that mobiles, smartphones and iPads come with cameras, accelerometers, light detectors and geolocation capabilities.
“You are aware of the fact that somebody can know where you are at all times, because you carry a mobile device, even if that mobile device is turned off,” he said. “You know this, I hope? Yes? Well, you should.”
Hunt also spoke of mobile apps that will be able to control pacemakers — even involuntarily — and joked about a “dystopian” future where self-driving cars force people to go to the grocery store to pick up milk for their spouses.
Hunt’s speech barely touched on privacy concerns. But he did acknowledge that they exist.
“Technology in this world is moving faster than government or law can keep up,” he said. “It’s moving faster I would argue than you can keep up: You should be asking the question of what are your rights and who owns your data.”
US Govt Develops a Matrix-Like World Simulating the Virtual You

It is not surprising that data in the Information Age can be extremely valuable, even a source of power. Now picture a parallel virtual world that collects information on our virtual identities in real time, tracks our behavior, and is smart enough to interpret this data to simulate a virtual YOU on its own. This is exactly the concept of Sentient World Simulation (SWS) that was proposed in a paper by a few researchers in 2006, which has since largely flown under the radar.
Sentient World Simulation
SWS is one of the ongoing projects by secret agencies and organizations such as the NSA. In fact, these organizations have a long history of always seeking new technologies to process a continuous stream of information about the population. However, SWS differs from other information aggregators such as Google in that this technology actually simulates us, while taking our personalities into account, in a parallel virtual world.
SWS is actually a continuously running, continually updated mirror model of the real world in parallel on a computer, designed to predict and evaluate future events and courses of action. Put simply, SWS is a virtual mirror of the real society where individuals, leaders, organizations and institutions are simulated according to real data. The geography of a society is modeled at various levels including city, province, country, region, and world in terms of political, military, economic, social, information and infrastructure nodes.
SWS uses Synthetic Environment for Analysis and Simulation (SEAS), which is designed to be agnostic to the type of simulations and choice of models in order to allow experimentation in the context of multiple and potentially conflicting theories and predictions.
In a complex scenario, a single theory from SWS doesn’t give comprehensive information about the case. It requires a different analysis from different perspectives of the same phenomena by combining all the theories. It’s developed in a way where each component and theory is built on the previous, serving as stepping stones in the development of SWS.
Global Research reported that “U.S. defense, Intel and homeland security officials” are involved in constructing this project. With all the massive data collections, and also all the records from the Internet, SWS has the potential to predict the answers to many complicated queries, as it gets more intelligent the more information it is fed.

Another thing in the back of everyone’s minds could also be the possibility of a virtual copy doing something that you are doing right now. Perhaps a simulated version of me has actually written this article? The line between actual reality and virtual reality will surely blur as more and more information is collected.
Some people may argue that SWS could also be a beneficial tool for governments and secret agencies to use to prevent terrorism and predict incidents by simulating them in a mirror world. Moreover, these type of models are often justified by the phrase: “If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to fear.” This phrase has always been the excuse of those who want to downplay increasing threat of a surveillance state and imply guilt for those who express concern.
But while massive data gathering and simulation models could indeed have their benefits for society. Such is the double-edged sword of most breakthrough technology. The centralized control of personal and social information by a single entity gives it immense and unprecedented power.
Decentralization
Blockchain architecture could be used to create a decentralized data network that would not give any particular entity control, mitigating the risk of data misuse. Decentralization, by not giving an advantage to any one entity, is a viable solution that can save us from horrible future scenarios.
While this system is certainly more difficult to build and implement, as it requires the involvement of a lot of people, a decentralized data network not only guarantees and makes sure that the technology isn’t used against the interests of the majority of the population, but also reduces the possibility of censorship, facilitating free speech.
Any new technology can be used for both good and evil. Nevertheless, if these technologies are used transparently and in a way that reduces the possibility of manipulation and centralized control by bad actors, then the relationship between people and their representative government would be drastically improved. Perhaps then we would be able to attain greater individual privacy and realize the vision of Edward Snowden, who described his childhood:
“I grew up with the understanding that the world I lived in was one where people enjoyed a sort of freedom to communicate with each other in privacy, without it being monitored, without it being measured or analyzed or sort of judged by these shadowy figures or systems, any time they mention anything that travels across public lines.”
The NSA’s illegal warrantless wiretapping program. The building of the massive NSA data center in Utah to permanently store copies of all digital communication sent around the world. The UK government’s “Communications Data Bill” to monitor emails, instant messages and other personal information. What was dismissed as crazy conspiracy theory just over a decade ago has become, in this post-9/11 era, the all-too-familiar stuff of newspaper headlines and talking head reportage.
In fact, it was about a decade ago that the tactic of the intelligence agencies seemed to change. Instead of keeping their activities classified–referring to the NSA as “No Such Agency,” for example, or officially denying the existence of Echelon–the government increasingly began shoving this information in the public’s face.
Perhaps the scariest thing about something like the Total Information Awareness Office is not merely that it was proposed in the first place, or that it incorporated such blatantly creepy Orwellian imagery to convey its true nature and purpose, but that, as we sit here 10 years later, and as the core functions of the TIA office are now being openly performed by the NSA, DHS and other governmental agencies, people are now actively making excuses for this nightmarish police state.
“If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear” has always been the rallying cry for those who are too afraid of questioning presumed governmental authority to speak out against the surveillance state and the implied assumption of guilt that goes along with it. With feigned bemusement these moral midgets inevitably ask “What’s so bad about the government spying on you, anyway?”
The answer, of course, is that the very question implies that the agencies tasked with carrying out this constant Big Brother surveillance are themselves above reproach, shining lights of moral rectitude who would never abuse this incredible power for nefarious ends. For the unimaginative out there, Hollywood yarns like “Enemy of the State” have provided fictional examples of what can go wrong if someone, somewhere, abuses this power of information and surveillance to target an innocent person in the wrong place at the wrong time.
To be sure, the power that these technologies give for agencies, or corrupt groups within those agencies, to destroy the lives of targeted individuals, is itself a fitting answer to the question of why government surveillance should be troubling to us. But beyond what can happen to specific, targeted individuals in such a scenario, however, is a much larger question: What if this data, our emails, our phone calls, our credit card transactions, our social media posts, our cell phone GPS logs, and all of the hundreds of other pieces of data that are admittedly being collected on us every day, were being fed into a database so gargantuan it contains a digital version of every single person on the planet? And what if that database were being used by the Department of Defense to war game various scenarios, from public reactions to natural disasters to the likelihood of civil unrest in the wake of a declaration of martial law?
Remarkably, this is precisely what is happening.
It is called the “Sentient World Simulation.” The program’s aim, according to its creator, is to be a “continuously running, continually updated mirror model of the real world that can be used to predict and evaluate future events and courses of action.” In practical terms that equates to a computer simulation of the planet complete with billions of “nodes” representing every person on the earth.
The project is based out of Purdue University in Indiana at the Synthetic Environment for Analysis and Simulations Laboaratory. It is led by Alok Chaturvedi, who in addition to heading up the Purdue lab also makes the project commercially available via his private company, Simulex, Inc. which boasts an array of government clients, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice, as well as private sector clients like Eli Lilly and Lockheed Martin.
Chatruvedi’s ambition is to create reliable forecasts of future world events based on imagined scenarios. In order to do this, the simulations “gobble up breaking news, census data, economic indicators, and climactic events in the real world, along with proprietary information such as military intelligence.” Although not explicitly stated, the very type of data on digital communications and transactions now being gobbled up by the NSA, DHS and other government agencies make ideal data for creating reliable models of every individuals’ habits, preferences and behaviors that could be used to fine-tune these simulations and give more reliable results. Using this data, the SEAS Laboratory and its Sentient World Simulation offshoot are able to create detailed, operable real-time simulations of at least 62 nations. “The Iraq and Afghanistan computer models,” according to a 2007 Register report on the project, “each has about five million individual nodes representing things such as hospitals, mosques, pipelines, and people.”
At the time of initial reports on the program five years ago, there were only 62 country-level simulations being run by the US Department of Defense. These simulations grouped humans into composites, with 100 individuals acting as a single node. But already at that time, the US Army had used the systems to create a one-to-one level simulation of potential Army recruits. The ultimate aim would be to archive enough data on each individual to be able to make a computer model of everyone on the planet, one that could be used to predict the behaviors and reactions of every single person in the event of various scenarios.
The program can be used to predict what would happen in the event of a large scale tsunami, for example, or how people would react during a bioterror attack. Businesses can use the models to predict how a new product would fare in the market, what kind of marketing plans would be most effective, or how best to streamline a company’s organization.
The original concept paper for the project was published in 2006 and in 2007 it was reported that both Homeland Security and the Defense Department were already using the system to simulate the American public’s reaction to various crises. In the intervening five years, however, there has been almost no coverage at all of the Sentient World Simulation or its progress in achieving a model of the earth.
There is a very good chance that these types of systems are, at least for the moment, pure quackery. Computers are only as valuable as their programming, after all, and the algorithms required to accurately predict responses in chaotic systems with multiple, dimly-understood variables is orders of magnitude beyond what is currently possible. Or is it? One of the great ironies of our time, as Glenn Greenwald goes on to point out in his speech on the surveillance state, is that although we live in a time when it is possible for nebulous government agencies to know every detail of your life, from what you ate for breakfast to where you shopped last night to who your friends are, we are also living in an age of unprecedented ignorance about what are our own governments are actually doing.
This is the heart of the matter. Somehow we are expected to go along with the sophomoric sophism that “If we have nothing to hide then we have nothing to fear,” yet at the same time we are asked to believe that the government must keep all manner of information secret from the public in order to carry out its work of “protecting” that public.
If the government has nothing to hide, then why doesn’t it release the notes, memoranda and findings of the 9/11 Commission in full and unredacted?
Why doesn’t it release the records of the JFK assassination investigation instead of arguing, as it is, that those records should once again be removed from a declassification review that is to take place in 2013, 50 years after the assassination itself took place?
Why doesn’t it release the full audit trail of what banks received the emergency TARP funds and in what amounts?
Is it because, after all, the government does have something to hide from the public that are its ostensible masters? Is it because the old maxim that “Knowledge is power” is more true than we could ever know, and that the government’s one-way insistence on transparency for the citizens and opacity for itself is a reflection of the power that it holds over us?
The Sentient World Simulation is just one example of one program run by one company for various governmental and Fortune 500 clients. But it is a significant peek behind the curtain at what those who are really running our society want: complete control over every facet of our lives achieved through a complete invasion of everything that was once referred to as “privacy.” To think that this is the only such program that exists, or even that we have any significant details about the ways that the SWS has already been used, would be hopelessly naive.
So where does this leave a public that is at such a disadvantage in this information warfare? A public that is effectively told that anything and everything they do, say or buy, can and will be catalogued by the a.i. control grid even as the details of that grid are to be kept from them? Unfortunately there is no easy way back from the precipice that we were ushered toward with the creation of the national security state and the passage of the National Security Act of 1947. Perhaps we have already stepped over that precipice and there is no going back in the current political paradigm. These are things for an informed, aware, knowledgeable citizenry to decide through a societal dialogue over the nature of and importance of “privacy.”
But without a general awareness that programs like the Sentient World Simulation even exist, what hope do we have in counteracting it?
Wearable exercise trackers provide data that encode information on individual running performance. These data hold great potential for enhancing our understanding of the complex interplay between training and performance. Here we demonstrate feasibility of this idea by applying a previously validated mathematical model to real-world running activities of ≈ 14,000 individuals with ≈ 1.6 million exercise sessions containing duration and distance, with a total distance of ≈ 20 million km. Our model depends on two performance parameters: an aerobic power index and an endurance index. Inclusion of endurance, which describes the decline in sustainable power over duration, offers novel insights into performance: a highly accurate race time prediction and the identification of key parameters such as the lactate threshold, commonly used in exercise physiology. Correlations between performance indices and training volume and intensity are quantified, pointing to an optimal training. Our findings hint at new ways to quantify and predict athletic performance under real-world conditions. Laboratory performance tests provide the gold standard for running performance but do not reflect real running conditions. Here the authors use a large, real world dataset obtained from wearable exercise trackers to extract parameters that accurately predict race times and correlate with training.
Starve the beast of your data by minimizing unnecessary usage. You don’t really need a smartphone half the times you’re out. You’re just being a junkie. Buy a goddam laptop, you need it more than a new expresso machine, tape the camera and the mic, use it wisely to give away a minimum of info etc… whatever you can think of to minimize the authentic data about you.
Intoxicate the beast with fake data: like things 7ou don’t really like, follow people you don’t care about, tag yourself in unrelated things, build a web o fake random connections, be unpredictable, break patterns, do random acts of randomness. When you start getting ads and suggestions you can’t care about, you’re on the good path.

What all these ARPAs do is one thing: spend countless billions from public money to do research that’s later handed to private companies through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scam. Universities used to provide these services, they still do to a smaller scale, but they can’t be as secretive and can’t be involved in some highly sensitive projects from a national security perspective.
ARPA-H launches path to speed public-private partnerships
The mission of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is to advance better health outcomes for everyone. To realize this mission, innovations sparked by ARPA-H must be able to transition into the real world. Transition strategies are often left to the last phase of a program, which significantly reduces the likelihood of a solution to reach the people that need it. ARPA-H seeks to facilitate public-private partnerships for accelerating technology transfer and transition by launching an effort to form Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA) that will make transition resources available throughout the entire program life cycle.
“Since the launch of ARPA-H almost a year ago, we have been building the team, tools, and capabilities that each program manager will need in order to launch audacious programs capable of advancing the state of the art in health innovation,” said Renee Wegrzyn, inaugural director of ARPA-H. “The PIA capability is critical to ensure that incoming program managers can hit the ground running and pursue big challenges in health.”
A PIA is an agreement established with a nonprofit partner with deep commercial sector and transition expertise, to engage academia and industry on behalf of the government. Speed and flexibility are the two main advantages of PIAs. PIAs allow for novel approaches that mirror commercial practice to get solutions to market. PIAs are authorized under 15 U.S.C. §3715 to create public-private partnerships.
“We at ARPA-H care deeply about getting solutions to everyone, and this is a powerful tool to ensure those solutions survive in the wild,” said Craig Gravitz, director of ARPA-H’s Project Accelerator Transition Innovation Office (PATIO). “This ensures ARPA-H programs address the market dynamics that matter for success, early and often.” PATIO is ARPA-H’s transition and commercialization office and focuses on ensuring that technologies developed through ARPA-H programs are readily accessible and scalable.
ARPA-H’s PIA application is designed to be easy to understand and implement, enabling potential intermediaries from all eligible communities who may not have deep government expertise to rapidly submit.
The PIA application is now closed. Awards will likely be made approximately 30 days from release date.
Dr. Renee Wegrzyn serves as the first director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), appointed on Oct. 11, 2022, by President Joseph R. Biden.
Previously, Wegrzyn served as a vice president of business development at Ginkgo Bioworks and head of innovation at Concentric by Ginkgo, where she focused on applying synthetic biology to outpace infectious diseases – including COVID-19 – through biomanufacturing, vaccine innovation, and biosurveillance of pathogens at scale.
Wegrzyn comes to ARPA-H with experience working for two of the institutions that inspired the creation of the agency – the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA).
As a Program Manager in the DARPA Biological Technologies Office, Wegrzyn leveraged the tools of synthetic biology and gene editing to enhance biosecurity, support the domestic bioeconomy, and thwart biothreats. Her DARPA portfolio included the Living Foundries: 1000 Molecules, Safe Genes; Preemptive Expression of Protective Alleles and Response Elements (PREPARE); and the Detect it with Gene Editing Technologies (DIGET) programs.
Wegrzyn received the Superior Public Service Medal for her work and contributions at DARPA. Prior to joining DARPA, she led technical teams in private industry in the areas of biosecurity, gene therapies, emerging infectious disease, neuromodulation, synthetic biology, as well as research and development teams commercializing multiplex immunoassays and peptide-based disease diagnostics.
Wegrzyn served on the scientific advisory boards for the National Academies Standing Committee on Biotechnology Capabilities and National Security Needs, National Academies of Science Board on Army Research and Development, Revive & Restore, Air Force Research Labs, Nuclear Threat Initiative, and the Innovative Genomics Institute. She holds doctoral and bachelor’s degrees in applied biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, was a fellow in the Center for Health Security Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative and completed her postdoctoral training as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow in Heidelberg, Germany.
With ARPA-H’s billions in Congressional funding and broad mandate to solve intractable health challenges, several audience members asked Wegrzyn what success might look like for the nascent agency. In addition to accelerating breakthroughs in disease prevention and health care delivery, “We want to create tools and products that people want to use,” Wegrzyn said. “We want it to be so obvious to the rest of the world why ARPA-H is here. … So that’ll look like success.” “And paradoxically,” she added, “success should also look like failure.” If the agency doesn’t experience failure, she argues, it may not be taking big enough risks. Another key indicator of success for ARPA-H will be in its diversity — in the problems it solves, in the communities it serves and in the program managers it hires. Spreading the word to people around the world, including those in underrepresented communities, will be pivotal.
The acceleration of COVID-19 testing platforms and vaccine development has demonstrated the possibility of expediting research for similar biomedical breakthroughs. However, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) lacks a framework to regularly sustain this type of research. A new federal agency, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), offers a unique opportunity to capitalize on the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and drive federal investment into high-risk, high-reward biomedical research. ARPA-H will mirror the flat bureaucratic structure of the successful Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) through the employment of independent project managers. ARPA-H is also unique in how it centers equity in the agency’s core mission. These unique traits could enable the agency to fill the gaps in current biomedical research under the NIH. Nonetheless, ARPA-H’s implementation is not without challenges: its incorporation within the NIH has raised concerns regarding its ability to specialize in high-risk research and the diversion of funding away from the rest of the NIH. These worries can be mitigated through the separation of ARPA-H and the NIH. Successful implementation of the ARPA-H framework would supplement current NIH work, diversify the US federal research strategy, accelerate promising breakthroughs, promote equity in health, and transform the nature of biomedical research in the US.
And this is not the last ARPA you’ll hear about. We’re in a world of ARPAs.

“Act Up, Fight Back, Fight AIDS!” The angry chanting grew louder as hundreds of protesters wove through the usually placid campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda on May 21, 1990.
With signs that read “Red Tape Kills Us” and “NIH — Negligence, Incompetence and Horror,” members of the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power, or ACT UP, marched toward a row of police officers in riot gear guarding Building One. Suddenly, the pack parted and a small group of protesters ran through the middle of the crowd, right to the police line, bearing torches spewing rainbow-colored smoke. Chaos erupted between the screaming crowd and police, each pushing and shoving back and forth.
ACT UP’s “Storm the NIH” had begun.
“It was spectacular,” Mark Harrington, a leading member of the group, remembered in a phone interview.
As confused NIH scientists and administrators looked out of their windows, the 1,000-strong demonstration then marched to Building 31, which housed the offices of the protests’ target: Anthony S. Fauci, then and now the chief of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
For months, ACT UP had been formally urging Fauci to include their members in the government’s development process for AIDS drugs. Fauci, now under attack by some Trump supporters for his response to the coronavirus pandemic, was in favor of the group’s participation.
“I was trying to get them into all the planning meetings for the clinical trials,” Fauci said last week, taking time out from the coronavirus fight to look back at another deadly disease he managed 30 years ago. But he met increasing resistance from the scientific community, who were put off by ACT UP’s tactics.
“We were putting Tony in a tough spot,” acknowledged Peter Staley, the ACT UP leader who spearheaded the protest.
ACT UP had formed in New York City in 1987 as an angry response to government inaction on finding drugs and treatments for AIDS patients. The group was motivated by rage, helplessness and grief, Harrington said, as they stood by and watched thousands of friends and lovers die of the human immunodeficiency virus that led to AIDS — what was then called a “gay plague.”
As more and more gay men died in the mid-1980s, and homophobia flourished, ACT UP staged theatrical protests at the Food and Drug Administration, on Wall Street and at New York’s City Hall. The most famous was a 1989 die-in at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York to protest then-Cardinal John O’Connor’s opposition to teaching safe sex and distributing condoms.
The “Storm the NIH” protest was the culmination of the group’s public demonstrations about the deadly disease.
“We wanted a seat at the table,” Staley said, and for months before the protest pushed to have ACT UP organizers become voting members on all the scientific committees that set the research agenda at NIAID.
“One of the things that people in ACT UP said is that we are the people who are experiencing this novel disease, and we are the experts, not just the scientists and doctors,” said Garance Ruta, executive director of GEN magazine and an ACT UP member who was at the NIH protest.
The NIH demonstration also advocated for the group’s quest to reduce the dose and price of the only AIDS-fighting drug approved by the FDA at the time, AZT, made by Burroughs Wellcome Co.
“At $8,000 a year for users, AZT is said to be the most expensive prescription drug in history,” read a New York Times column in August 1989. The column also pointed out that about 35 percent of AIDS patients had either no health insurance or policies that did not pay for drugs.
Fauci was one of the younger scientists working on AIDS research at NIAID at the time, and Staley said ACT UP members began to get to know him. “All the older scientists thought we were crazy,” he said. “But Fauci wanted to hear what we had to say.”
“We liked Tony personally. He’s a brilliant scientist, a brilliant fighter of epidemics,” Staley said.
“I was becoming friends with some of them, like Peter Staley and Mark Harrington,” Fauci agreed. “I felt very strongly that we needed to get them into the planning process because they weren’t always right, but they had very, very good input.”
Fauci attended an ACT UP meeting in October 1989. After that, some of the group’s leaders on its Treatment and Data Committee would meet the NIAID chief and his deputy, Jim Hill, for dinner at Hill’s townhouse on Capitol Hill.
Fauci said he urged the scientific community and his own staff to include ACT UP members in the drug trial process. “I was pushing and pulling these people and screaming, ‘Hey, we have to deal with them,’ ” he said. “I was in a difficult position because I was trying to convince the establishment that ACT UP had something to offer.”
Fauci promised NIAID would become more inclusive, but after months with no action, ACT UP decided the only choice they had was a protest, Harrington said.
At a dinner with Fauci in March, Staley said, “Tony, we’ve got some bad news for you. We know you’ve been advocating for us on this. But we’ve decided to do a gigantic demonstration at the NIH, and it will be in front of your building.”
Fauci tried to talk them out of it, but Staley vowed not just to demonstrate, but to get arrested, too, according to Fauci.
Between March and May, ACT UP spread the word about “Storm the NIH” to its chapters across the country. The group took out full-page ads in The Washington Post.
ACT UP was renowned for creating what Staley called a six-ring circus at its demonstrations, and the NIH protest was no different. Gathering at the NIH gates that Monday morning in May, chapters were divided into “affinity groups,” each of which organized its own presentation, skit or protest focus.
“All the affinity groups gave themselves campy names, like CHER!, the Juicers or the Marys,” Staley explained. “I was in charge of a group called the Power Tools.”
A movie he saw featuring military pyrotechnics made him think about using colored smoke. He looked through a military magazine and learned smoke bombs in the shape of grenades were available in different colors. “I ordered all the colors of the rainbow, thinking, ‘That will make a statement,’ ” he said.
The day of the demonstration, he and Power Tools members taped the canisters to poles and hid them behind posters to get on campus.
Staley’s group stayed behind the bulk of the protesters, who marched ahead to confront about 200 police officers, some on horseback, who were clubbing some activists. Others set up a mock graveyard in front of Building 31, with tombstones describing deaths from “drug profiteers” or “AZT poisoning.”
Chanting, “NIH, you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide,” according to United Press International, affinity groups carried banners, posters, mock coffins, and effigies — including one of Fauci. One group staged a die-in. Another formed a human snake that slid its way through the raucous crowd, each section labeled with a different opportunistic AIDS infection.
“One guy even had Fauci’s head on a stick,” Staley said.
It might have seemed otherwise, “but this was not a protest against research,” Ruta said. “It was a protest on behalf of research.”
Staley and his crew lit the smoke bombs and ran through the parting crowd. A roar went up from protesters as billows of red, yellow, blue, purple and green smoke filled the air. An Associated Press photo of screaming activists under a cloud of rainbow smoke eventually made it onto the cover of newspapers across the country.
Meanwhile, Fauci, looking out his office window, grew frustrated. “I didn’t like that degree of disruption on campus,” he said, concerned the rowdy action would further alienate scientists from including ACT UP in the drug development process.
Then Fauci noticed a protester climbing onto the building’s front overhang. It was Peter Staley. Police officers pulled Staley off the roof, lowering him into a band of officers who immediately handcuffed him. Fauci said he raced down to the first floor to make sure Peter was okay.
“I didn’t want him to get hurt because there were mounted police and that could be dangerous,” he said.
“A big, burly African American cop dragged me through the first floor of the building, and who should I run into, but Tony Fauci,” Staley said.
“Peter?” Fauci said.
“Hey, Tony,” Staley responded with a grin.
“Are you guys okay?” Fauci asked.
Staley laughed. “See — I told you I’d get arrested,” he said, adding, “I’m just doing my job,” surprising the officer that his perpetrator knew the head of the institute.
Staley was the first arrest of the day, he said, with about 80 more arrests following, according to The Post.
In The Post story, Fauci was critical of the protest, expressing concern that it could hurt AIDS researchers’ morale.
“It was interesting theater,” Fauci said at the time, “but it was not helpful.”
The next month, however, ACT UP could definitively declare victory. At the International Conference on AIDS in San Francisco, Fauci gave Harrington the good news: Activists, journalists and people with AIDS would be let into the AIDS Clinical Trials Group, Harrington said, and the trials would expand to include women of color, drug users and children.
It was a turning point — for both ACT UP and biomedical research, Harrington said.
All drug testing committees at NIH now have patient advocates, he noted, including NIH’s trial to test hydroxychloroquine and azythromicin.
Staley points out that community activists are now involved in coordinating efforts to combat covid-19, an outgrowth of ACT UP. Activists “are now in lockstep with scientists,” he said.
“Ever since the 1990 demonstration, we’ve been partners in fighting illnesses and diseases, and our enemies now are hesitant politicians and anti-science radio hosts,” he said. “We are now Fauci’s great defenders against the anti-science. And the world is better for it.” – WASHINGTON POST

Close to 1000 earthquakes in a week, very atypical and scientifically unexplained. I’m not talking about Turkey, but their neighbor and Ukraine’s: my home-country, Romania. These occur as I type this and they unearthed a long-buried scandal: The Romanian mini-HAARP.

In August 2010, the landscape next to Corbu Beach in Romania has been visibly altered by two clusters of 20 antennas each and some barracks, suddenly landed there, next to an air-defense training camp belonging to the Romanian Army. By September, social media was already sounding the alarm: “is this anything like HAARP?!”. Because earthquakes are not a rare occurrence in Romania, neither are extreme weather phenomena. Some are just nature being nature, some of are truly scientifically inexplicable, some only defy experience and common sense. The topic generated a surprising amount of media coverage, talk shows, interviews and the whole shabazz, in which top Romanian Army experts and generals, as well as some government officials, expressed personal opinions and stances that are very rich in unsettling information they vouch for. And I can translate it for you. Yet, 13 years later, the general population is almost as clueless about this installation as it was in 2010, both the Romanian Government and the Romanian Army couldn’t be less bothered to calm the waters, they knew another scandal will diffuse this one soon. Some folks really went down the HAARP rabbit hole and that changed their lives. But no one has managed to come up with anything official, just mere speculations about that specific gear next to Corbu Beach, lurking somewhere middle way if you walk from Odessa to Ankara. GAKONA, Alaska–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BAE Systems has completed work on the world’s largest and most capable ionospheric research facility. The facility will be used to study interactions between high-power radio signals and the earth’s ionosphere.

As the prime contractor for the U.S. Defense Department’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) research station, BAE Systems designed and built the facility, operating software, and controls under a series of contracts valued at more than $250 million from the Office of Naval Research.
The research station was dedicated on June 27 in a ceremony held at the Gakona site. Construction of the station was jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
It includes 360 radio transmitters with a combined power of 3.6 megawatts; 180, 68-foot-tall antennas covering an area of 40 acres; and five large generators providing more than 16 megawatts of power.
“HAARP is a scientific project to study the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with emphasis on using the ionosphere to improve communications and surveillance systems for civilian and defense purposes,” said Rob Jacobsen, HAARP program director for BAE Systems in Washington, D.C.
The ionosphere is the part of the atmosphere between space and the earth in which electrically charged atoms, or ions, reflect radio waves, making long-distance radio communication possible.

BAE Systems completes $1.9 billion acquisition of Raytheon’s military GPS business
WASHINGTON — BAE Systems has completed its $1.9 billion purchase of Collins Aerospace’s military GPS business from Raytheon Technologies Corporation, BAE announced July 31.
The two companies had already struck a deal with BAE in January, which saw BAE purchasing Collins Aerospace’s military GPS business from UTC for $1.9 billion and Raytheon’s airborne tactical radio business for $275 million.
A special CBC report aired in Canada early 2000’s also reveals Raytheon is behind the “Mother HAARP” in Alaska.
A kind of FAQ:
SO WHAT IS THIS THING IN ROMANIA?
Officially, it’s a radar for monitoring the territorial waters in the Black Sea.
Comparing its description with the presentations on the HAARP official website, what I see is a pocket HAARP.
The main relevant difference I found is that HAARP has to use the word “transmitter” while Raytheon can avoid it because that’s not the on-label purpose.
A physics professor who’s just saw that Raytheon page told me in a recent private chat: If HAARP was a firetruck, this is like a car fire extinguisher. They use similar physics to accomplish similar goals, to different scales.
Can this thing use the ionosphere to focus energy in a specific location like HAARP does? Theoretically yes, de facto we can’t know as of now. These capabilities can even be hidden to the rightful owner and third parties can have access to them through backdoors, same way the Pegasus spyware that hands control over your phone to anyone who can afford to buy it. So the Romanian Army can use it in good will to surveil its territory and, same time, the DoD could use it to send an energy impulse somewhere else.
CAN THIS THING REALLY BE BLAMED FOR EARTHQUAKES
I personally have found NO evidence that causally connects this installation and an earthquake, that is NOT my thesis here.
My stance is that this thing COULD, theoretically, achieve that, we are in a territory of agnosticism on this topic and, if we are impartial, we need to be open to either possibilities and collect more information on both.
From this position, this is my analysis:
Someone argued that all HAARP-like installation known on Earth, about a dozen, summed up, can’t generate enough energy to kickstart an earthquake.
To which, a Romanian Army general responded on some Romanian cable news TV: “they don’t need to. “
Simplifying what he and other experts said publicly, in Romania and beyond, they only need to be the straw the breaks the camel’s back. And that’s something even a tiny installation like the Corbu one can over-achieve if enough seismic tension accumulates in Earth’s crust somewhere close enough. Even more so if you overlap two of them…
So what I’m saying is:
“Suspicious” is the reasonable default position about any earthquake in this day and age, regardless of what “de-radicalizers” say. Just collect enough evidence before any conclusion.
This question has been scientifically settled long ago, as you will see further below.
I have another one that no one dares to touch:
CAN THE ROMANIAN HAARP SET A RUSSIAN WARSHIP ON FIRE?
No quotable sources I know dared to answer.
WHERE IS THE SECOND POCKET-HAARP?
No one knows, as of now. No one even knew there were two, besides the parts that signed the contract and probably 10 more people who paid attention to the press release and forgot about it the next minute.
We explored the possibility that both of them have been deployed in the same location, as we have two rows x 20 antennas each.
First of all, it’s unusual because senseless to overlap radars, the whole point of radars being to surveil as much territory as possible. Even more so in this case, where one installation can cover the whole Romanian shore and beyond. Placing two radars in the same location doubles the power over the same area. The power to what, these are radars, officially at least…?
On the other hand, these are “beyond the horizon” radars, specifically useful for surveilling large surfaces of water, there are no other seas or oceans Romania has an opening to. Surely they can be used on land too, but Romania is about 2/3 mountains and hills, from a military standpoint, other types of radars were more needed to secure borders and this acquisition makes half-sense as announced.
So, if they deployed both of them in Corbu, that only makes things more illogical and suspicious.
HOW DOES ROMANIA NEED TWO IF ONE DOES THE JOB?? SOURCE
But we don’t know yet either way, this investigation is ongoing.
As an experienced former insider in Romanian politics, I advise investigating an alternative question:
HAS THE SECOND RADAR EVER BEEN DELIVERED?

LAST MINUTE: CORPORATE SHILLS BLAME CORPORATE FRACKING FOR THE ROMANIAN EARTHQUAKES
A series of surprising voices raised to blame some natural gas exploitations nearby for about 1000 earthquakes in Gorj, Romania. “They’re fracking there, this caused the earthquakes”, activists claimed. Some MEP even started a social media campaign on this.
I almost bought that, but a red light kept blinking in the back of my head, as these voices came mostly from the NPC area of the Romanian society and media, the ones that usually line behind corporatist agendas, not against them. If they turned their weapons, much higher stakes are played.
It didn’t take long until the incriminated company responded with a press release simply stating they are not using any form of fracking there.
And I am open to believe they’re not bullshitting us this time because it’s something easily verifiable and I know they know it’s hard to get away with such a lie even in Romania. However, hard is not impossible.
I will update this if time proves me wrong. Until then, at least officially, it wasn’t fracking.
If I am correct, I am also correct when I say some people were sent out there to put out the fire on the topic of geophysical weapons.
PLOT TWIST: The event is used by authorities to expropriate people who live in “endangered edifices”.

The HAARP project and non-lethal weapons. Experts alarmed – public debate needed.
The hearing on the HAARP project and non-lethal weapons was held in connection with a European Parliament own-initiative report, to be drawn up by Maj Britt THEORIN (PES, S), on the possible use of military resources in environmental strategies.
Non-lethal (or non-deadly) weapons – a varied scenario As Peter TRUSCOTT (PES, UK) said in his introduction, “There is an invisible line between what is acceptable and what is suspect”. This is the nub of the issue.
Non-lethal weapons constitute a trend in military thinking which has developed since the end of the Cold War. The world is dealing with a different sort of crisis, which is less easily identifiable and less easy to manage with traditional methods and weapons – hence the desire to master the violence by means other than the same violence. Non- lethal weapons are compared by some authors to “straitjackets” and defined as “any action capable of modifying the behaviour of the adversary while avoiding his annihilation”. This appears to be a significant element of crisis prevention but can be – and is – also used in civilian situations (e.g. crowd control).
Mr Luc MAMPAEY, a researcher at GRIP, the Brussels-based European institute for research and information into peace and security, said he believed the expression “non-lethal weapons” was semantically contentious. He argued that the term had reassuring connotations. It was the politically correct term, and one which could delude the public into thinking that nowadays a clean war was possible and hence morally acceptable. In fact, as he himself and the Red Cross representative, Mr Robin COUPLAND (Geneva), pointed out, the dividing line between deadly and non-deadly weapons was not clear. Some weapons might result in death, while others could incapacitate their victims permanently or temporarily. Mr COUPLAND was quite categorical: the term “non-deadly”, he said, was ultimately a marketing slogan.
The problem of definition “by default” led all the experts to stress that there was no single type of non-lethal weapon and that a careful distinction must be made between the various types, from the simplest to the most sophisticated. These new weapons covered a broad spectrum of technologies, from optical systems with a dazzling or blinding effect, through sound and electro- magnetic waves, chemical, medicinal, adhesive, slippery, super-caustic and acidic substances, biological agents, bacteria and micro-organisms, to rubber bullets and electric-shock batons.
Dangers to health and the environment
The effects on health and the environment were also described as variable. Any weapon designed to disrupt an organism, as well as weapons capable of affecting an organism indirectly, by chemical or biological means, or optical, acoustic or neurological stimuli, could become fatal under certain conditions. Adhesive foam, it was said, could also have extremely dangerous side- effects.
Only if a precisely calculated dose were perfectly delivered could it be guaranteed that sensory (or xenobiotic) stimuli would not have irreversible, or indeed, fatal effects. In practice, this perfect control over the degree of disruption was the first thing likely to go by the board under extreme conditions, where the desire for a swift and decisive solution would rapidly override considerations of ethics or toxicology.
The risk of abuse in democratic societies
However, it was argued, health and environmental issues were not the only concerns raised by the use of non-lethal weapons. Mr COUPLAND expressed concern about an overlap of civil, police and military applications. He was also afraid that these weapons might be used not to replace conventional weapons but in addition to them.
In Mr MAMPAEY’s view, as non-lethal weapons developed, links were bound to be created between military and law-and-order operations, which, he said, would enable certain current conventions to be bypassed. There was a danger of growing militarisation of domestic police forces, which would have access to more sophisticated weaponry. This could raise problems in any state which was supposed to be based on the rule of law and to be mindful of human rights and individual freedoms.
The HAARP project
Tom SPENCER (EPP, UK), chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, said that the United States had been invited to state its viewpoint on this matter to the hearing. Although the US had declined an initial invitation, Mr SPENCER reiterated his offer, saying that the Americans could send a representative to address the committee in future if they wished.
Ms Rosalie BERTELL, from Toronto (Canada), is one of the best-informed experts about HAARP (the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme), a programme which has been developed by the US military.
She described the background to HAARP. The ionosphere is a high-altitude layer of the atmosphere with particles which are highly charged with energy. If radiation is projected into the ionosphere, huge amounts of energy can be generated and used to annihilate a given region.
The HAARP project involves the manipulation of the earth’s ionosphere, whose natural role is to moderate energy transfer from the sun to the earth and is used as a missile trajectory and as a reflector for radio communication. The aim of HAARP is to control and manipulate the ionosphere so as to enable the manipulator to wipe out communications at will on a global scale, or to make them resilient in the event of a nuclear war.
It also enables communications to take place with submerged submarines and can, in theory, create geomagnetic pathways to guide particle beams which could then deposit large amounts of energy anywhere on the globe. In simpler terms, HAARP, with its power of intimidation, of delivery or denial of electrical energy on a global scale and its control of communications, is an element of a system which could control the global village in some frightening ways.
According to Dr Nick BEGICH, an expert from Alaska and author of one of the leading publications on the subject*, the HAARP programme would allow such concentrations of energy to be attained that an entire region of the planet could be deprived of water. Electromagnetic waves can cause earthquakes or tidal waves. Mr SPENCER pointed out that, under international conventions, any actions leading to climate change were prohibited.
Mr BEGICH said that in his eyes the project was purely and simply “Star Wars technology”. Moreover, it was a secret project, as the US Congress had refused to finance Star Wars. The USA, he claimed, had allocated 91 million dollars to the main programme, to which must be added the related programmes. Over the last 50 years, he said, certain levels of security had been developed which were protected from public scrutiny. State secrets were acceptable in themselves but if they involved such major repercussions for human beings and the environment they must be made public. In his view, the international community should be allowed to evaluate the risks of the HAARP programme.
Eurico DE MELO (EPP, P) said he regarded the revelations as terrifying and said that there was a need for a campaign to inform the public about it.
Winding up, Magda AELVOET (Green, B) told the hearing that there was a saying: “War is too important to be left to the generals”. She feared we had forgotten this truth.

The foreign affairs committee of the European Parliament has criticised plans by the US military to beam high-frequency signals into the atmosphere. The committee is worried about the effect of the high- frequency active auroral research programme (HAARP) on the environment.
HAARP is a facility to study upper atmospheric and solar terrestrial physics. The programme is paid for by the US Air Force and Navy and has already cost hundreds of million dollars. Opponents of the project believe that the defence department is studying ways of improving communications with the US submarine fleet. The array acts like a powerful radar and transmits high frequency 3600 kW signals into the ionosphere.
Starting 35 miles above the Earth’s surface, the ionosphere contains charged particles which distort and deflect radio signals. These particles are produced by the interaction of solar radiation with the atmosphere. HAARP can pump energy some 70 miles into the ionosphere diameter. Military applications for such phenomena are many – devising radar systems, disrupting communications, and improving US logistics.
When the foreign affairs committee invited North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and the US permanent representative to NATO to discuss the HAARP project at a public meeting two weeks ago, both groups refused. The secretary general of NATO said that the organisation had neither a policy on this topic, nor an expert they could send to the committee. Tom Spencer, chairman of the committee chairman, vowed to take the matter further, possibly to the US Congress.
Not all researchers believe that opposition to HAARP is justified. Peter Cargill, a space physicist at Imperial College in London, believes that the physics is interesting in its own right, and points out that there are several other facilities carrying out this type of research. “HAARP is just bigger than the other programmes around the world, ” he says. “However, the military don’t spend that kind of money for pure science.”

At the request of the Conference of Committee Chairmen, the President, at the sitting of 15 November 1996, announced that the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy had been authorised to submit a report on the matter.
At its meeting of 19 November 1996 the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy appointed Mrs Maj Britt Theorin rapporteur.
At the sitting of 19 June 1998 the President of Parliament announced that this report would be drawn up, pursuant to the Hughes Procedure, by the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection.
The draft report was considered by the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy at its meetings of 5 February, 29 June, 21 July, 3, 23 and 28 September, 13, 27 and 29 October 1998 and 4 and 5 January 1999, and by the Subcommittee on Security and Disarmament at its meetings of 5 February and 3 and 23 September 1998.
At the last meeting the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy adopted the motion for a resolution by 28 votes to none with one abstention.

HAARP – a weapons system which disrupts the climate
On 5 February 1998 Parliament’s Subcommittee on Security and Disarmament held a hearing the subject of which included HAARP. NATO and the US had been invited to send representatives, but chose not to do so. The Committee regrets the failure of the USA to send a representative to answer questions, or to use the opportunity to comment on the material submitted.[21]
HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project) is run jointly by the US Air Force and Navy, in conjunction with the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Similar experiments are also being conducted in Norway, probably in the Antarctic, as well as in the former Soviet Union.[22] HAARP is a research project using a ground based apparatus, an array of antennae each powered by its own transmitter, to heat up portions of ionosphere with powerful radio beams.[23] The energy generated heats up parts of the ionosphere; this results in holes in the ionosphere and produces artificial ‘lenses’.
HAARP can be used for many purposes. Enormous quantities of energy can be controlled by manipulating the electrical characteristics of the atmosphere. If used as a military weapon this can have a devastating impact on an enemy. HAARP can deliver millions of times more energy to a given area than any other conventional transmitter. The energy can also be aimed at a moving target which should constitute a potential anti-missile system.
The project would also allow better communications with submarines and manipulation of global weather patterns, but it is also possible to do the reverse, to disrupt communications. By manipulating the ionosphere one could block global communications while transmitting one’s own. Another application is earth-penetrating, tomography, x-raying the earth several kilometres deep, to detect oil and gas fields, or underground military facilities. Over-the-horizon radar is another application, looking round the curvature of the earth for in-coming objects.
From the 1950s the USA conducted explosions of nuclear material in the Van Allen Belts[24] to investigate the effect of the electro-magnetic pulse generated by nuclear weapon explosions at these heights on radio communications and the operation of radar. This created new magnetic radiation belts which covered nearly the whole earth. The electrons travelled along magnetic lines of force and created an artificial Aurora Borealis above the North Pole. These military tests are liable to disrupt the Van Allen belt for a long period. The earth’s magnetic field could be disrupted over large areas, which would obstruct radio communications. According to US scientists it could take hundreds of years for the Van Allen belt to return to normal. HAARP could result in changes in weather patterns. It could also influence whole ecosystems, especially in the sensitive Antarctic regions.
Another damaging consequence of HAARP is the occurrence of holes in the ionosphere caused by the powerful radio beams. The ionosphere protects us from incoming cosmic radiation. The hope is that the holes will fill again, but our experience of change in the ozone layer points in the other direction. This means substantial holes in the ionosphere that protects us.
With its far-reaching impact on the environment HAARP is a matter of global concern and we have to ask whether its advantages really outweigh the risks. The environmental impact and the ethical aspect must be closely examined before any further research and testing takes place. HAARP is a project of which the public is almost completely unaware, and this needs to be remedied.
HAARP has links with 50 years of intensive space research for military purposes, including the Star Wars project, to control the upper atmosphere and communications. This kind of research has to be regarded as a serious threat to the environment, with an incalculable impact on human life. Even now nobody knows what impact HAARP may have. We have to beat down the wall of secrecy around military research, and set up the right to openness and democratic scrutiny of military research projects, and parliamentary control.
A series of international treaties and conventions (the Convention on the prohibition of military or any other hostile use of environmental modification techniques, the Antarctic Treaty, the Treaty on principles governing the activities of states in the exploration and use of outer space including the moon and other celestial bodies, and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea) casts considerable doubt on HAARP on legal as well as humanitarian and political grounds. The Antarctic Treaty lays down that the Antarctic may be used exclusively for peaceful purposes.[25] This would mean that HAARP is a breach of international law. All the implications of the new weapons systems should be examined by independent international bodies. Further international agreements should be sought to protect the environment from unnecessary destruction in war.
Climate change – an integral part of US ‘Star Wars’ programme

While world attention and concern have been focussed on the need to prevent climate change by the control of carbon emissions, the dangers of ‘weather warfare’ have been ignored. Michel Chossudovsky draws attention to a US drive to perfect technology under its ‘Star Wars’ programme which will have the capacity to trigger climate change.
THE important debate on global warming under UN auspices provides but a partial picture of climate change; in addition to the devastating impacts of greenhouse gas emissions on the ozone layer, the world’s climate can now be modified as part of a new generation of sophisticated ‘non-lethal weapons.’ Both the Americans and the Russians have developed capabilities to manipulate the world’s climate.
In the US, the technology is being perfected under the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP) as part of the (‘Star Wars’) Strategic Defence Initiative (SDI). Recent scientific evidence suggests that HAARP is fully operational and has the ability to potentially trigger floods, droughts, hurricanes and earthquakes. From a military standpoint, HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction. Potentially, it constitutes an instrument of conquest capable of selectively destabilising agricultural and ecological systems of entire regions.
While there is no evidence that this deadly technology has been used, surely the United Nations should be addressing the issue of ‘environmental warfare’ alongside the debate on the climatic impacts of greenhouse gases…
Despite a vast body of scientific knowledge, the issue of deliberate climatic manipulations for military use has never been explicitly part of the UN agenda on climate change. Neither the official delegations nor the environmental action groups participating in the Hague Conference on Climate Change (COP6) (November 2000) have raised the broad issue of ‘weather warfare’ or ‘environmental modification techniques’ (ENMOD) as relevant to an understanding of climate change.
The clash between official negotiators, environmentalists and American business lobbies has centred on Washington’s outright refusal to abide by commitments on carbon dioxide reduction targets under the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.1 The impacts of military technologies on the world’s climate are not an object of discussion or concern. Narrowly confined to greenhouse gases, the ongoing debate on climate change serves Washington’s strategic and defence objectives.
‘Weather warfare’
World-renowned scientist Dr. Rosalie Bertell confirms that ‘US military scientists … are working on weather systems as a potential weapon. The methods include the enhancing of storms and the diverting of vapour rivers in the Earth’s atmosphere to produce targeted droughts or floods.’2 Already in the 1970s, former National Security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski had foreseen in his book Between Two Ages that:
‘Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised… [T]echniques of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm. ‘
Marc Filterman, a former French military officer, outlines several types of ‘unconventional weapons’ using radio frequencies. He refers to ‘weather war,’ indicating that the US and the Soviet Union had already ‘mastered the know-how needed to unleash sudden climate changes (hurricanes, drought) in the early 1980s.’3 These technologies make it ‘possible to trigger atmospheric disturbances by using Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radar [waves].’4
A simulation study of future defence ‘scenarios’ commissioned for the US Air Force calls for:
‘US aerospace forces to ‘own the weather’ by capitalising on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies to war-fighting applications… From enhancing friendly operations or disrupting those of the enemy via small-scale tailoring of natural weather patterns to complete dominance of global communications and counterspace control, weather modification offers the war fighter a wide range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary… In the United States, weather modification will likely become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications. Our government will pursue such a policy, depending on its interests, at various levels’.5
The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP)
The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP) based in Gokoma, Alaska – jointly managed by the US Air Force and the US Navy – is part of a new generation of sophisticated weaponry under the SDI. Operated by the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate, HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating ‘controlled local modifications of the ionosphere’. Scientist Dr. Nicholas Begich – actively involved in the public campaign against HAARP – describes HAARP as:
‘A super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere [upper layer of the atmosphere] by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything – living and dead.’6
Dr. Rosalie Bertell depicts HAARP as ‘a gigantic heater that can cause major disruption in the ionosphere, creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from bombarding the planet.’ 7
Misleading public opinion
HAARP has been presented to public opinion as a programme of scientific and academic research. US military documents seem to suggest, however, that HAARP’s main objective is to ‘exploit the ionosphere for Department of Defence purposes.’8 Without explicitly referring to HAARP, a US Air Force study points to the use of ‘induced ionospheric modifications’ as a means of altering weather patterns as well as disrupting enemy communications and radar.9
According to Bertell, HAARP is part of an integrated weapons system which has potentially devastating environmental consequences:
‘It is related to 50 years of intensive and increasingly destructive programmes to understand and control the upper atmosphere. It would be rash not to associate HAARP with the space laboratory construction which is separately being planned by the United States. HAARP is an integral part of a long history of space research and development of a deliberate military nature. The military implications of combining these projects [are] alarming. … The ability of the HAARP/Spacelab/rocket combination to deliver very large amount[s] of energy, comparable to a nuclear bomb, anywhere on earth via laser and particle beams, [is] frightening. The project is likely to be ‘sold’ to the public as a space shield against incoming weapons, or, for the more gullible, a device for repairing the ozone layer.’10
In addition to weather manipulation, HAARP has a number of related uses:
‘HAARP could contribute to climate change by intensively bombarding the atmosphere with high-frequency rays… Returning low-frequency waves at high intensity could also affect people’s brains, and effects on tectonic movements cannot be ruled out.11
More generally, HAARP has the ability to modify the world’s electromagnetic field. It is part of an arsenal of ‘electronic weapons’ which US military researchers consider a ‘gentler and kinder warfare’.12
Weapons of the New World Order
HAARP is part of the weapons arsenal of the New World Order under the SDI. From military command points in the US, entire national economies could potentially be destabilised through climatic manipulations. More importantly, the latter can be implemented without the knowledge of the enemy, at minimal cost and without engaging military personnel and equipment as in a conventional war.
The use of HAARP – if it were to be applied – could have potentially devastating impacts on the world’s climate. Responding to US economic and strategic interests, it could be used to selectively modify climate in different parts of the world, resulting in the destabilisation of agricultural and ecological systems.
It is also worth noting that the US Department of Defence has allocated substantial resources to the development of intelligence and monitoring systems on weather changes. The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Department of Defence’s National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) are working on ‘imagery for studies of flooding, erosion, land-slide hazards, earthquakes, ecological zones, weather forecasts, and climate change’ with data relayed from satellites.13
Policy inertia of the United Nations
According to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) signed at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro:
‘States have… in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law, the (…) responsibility to ensure that activities within their jurisdiction or control do not cause damage to the environment of other States or of areas beyond the limits of national jurisdiction.’14
It is also worth recalling that an international convention which entered into force in 1978 bans ‘military or any other hostile use of environmental modification techniques having widespread, long-lasting or severe effects.’15 Both the US and the Soviet Union were signatories to the Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques. The Convention defines ‘environmental modification techniques’ as referring to ‘any technique for changing – through the deliberate manipulation of natural processes – the dynamics, composition or structure of the Earth, including its biota, lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, or of outer space.’16
Why then did the UN – disregarding the ENMOD Convention as well as its own charter – decide to exclude from its agenda climatic changes resulting from military programmes?
European Parliament acknowledges impacts of HAARP
In February 1998, responding to a report of Mrs. Maj Britt Theorin – Swedish MEP (Member of the European Parliament) and longtime peace advocate – the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy held public hearings in Brussels on HAARP.17 The Committee’s ‘Motion for Resolution’ submitted to the European Parliament:
‘Considers HAARP… by virtue of its far-reaching impact on the environment to be a global concern and calls for its legal, ecological and ethical implications to be examined by an international independent body…; [the Committee] regrets the repeated refusal of the United States Administration… to give evidence to the public hearing …into the environmental and public risks [of] the HAARP programme.’18
The Committee’s request to draw up a ‘Green Paper’ on ‘the environmental impacts of military activities’, however, was casually dismissed on the grounds that the European Commission lacks the required jurisdiction to delve into ‘the links between environment and defense’.19 Brussels was anxious to avoid a showdown with Washington.
Fully operational
While there is no concrete evidence of HAARP having been used, scientific findings suggest that it is at present fully operational. What this means is that HAARP could potentially be applied by the US military to selectively modify the climate of an ‘unfriendly nation’ or ‘rogue state’ with a view to destabilising its national economy.
Agricultural systems in both developed and developing countries are already in crisis as a result of New World Order policies including market deregulation, commodity dumping, etc. Amply documented, IMF and World Bank ‘economic medicine’ imposed on the Third World and the countries of the former Soviet bloc has largely contributed to the destabilisation of domestic agriculture. In turn, the provisions of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) have supported the interests of a handful of Western agri-biotech conglomerates in their quest to impose genetically modified seeds on farmers throughout the world.
It is important to understand the linkage between the economic, strategic and military processes of the New World Order. In the above context, climatic manipulations under HAARP (whether accidental or deliberate) would inevitably exacerbate these changes by weakening national economies, destroying infrastructure and potentially triggering the bankruptcy of farmers over vast areas. Surely national governments and the United Nations should address the possible consequences of HAARP and other ‘non-lethal weapons’ on climate change.

A leading American climate scientist has said he felt “scared” when a shadowy organisation claiming to represent the CIA asked him about the possibility of weaponised weather.
Professor Alan Robock received a call three years ago from two men wanting to know if experts would be able to spot a hostile force’s attempts to upset the US climate.
But he suspected the real intention was to find out how feasible it might be to secretly interfere with the climate of another country.

A further twist in Prof Robock’s story concerns the CIA’s alleged co-funding of a major report on geoengineering published this week by the prestigious US National Academy of Sciences.
The report mentions the “US intelligence community” in its list of sponsors, which also includes the American space agency Nasa, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the US Department of Energy.
Prof Robock said the CIA had told one of his colleagues it wanted to fund the report, but apparently did not want this fact to be too obvious.
“The CIA is a major funder of the National Academies report so that makes me really worried who is going to be in control,” he added.
He pointed out that the US had a history of using the weather in a hostile way. During the Vietnam War clouds were seeded over the Ho Chi Minh trail – a footpath-based supply route used by the North Vietnamese – to make the track muddy in an attempt to cut it off.
The CIA had also seeded clouds over Cuba “to make it rain and ruin the sugar harvest”.
During a press conference on the potential risks of geoengineering, Prof Robock was asked what its greatest hazard might be.
He replied: “The answer is global nuclear war because if one country wants to control the climate in one way, and another doesn’t want it or if they try to shoot down the planes … if there is no agreement, it could result in terrible consequences.”
On the first day of 2015, a strange thing happened: a surface earthquake in Vrancea, at a depth of 31 kilometers, followed by aftershocks, also surface, in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We mention that the Vrancea seismic zone is a deep one, where natural tectonic movements occur below 50 kilometers. In parentheses, it must be said that the surface earthquake can produce greater destruction than the deep one, but zonally, on a much smaller area.
Eventually, another 18 earthquakes followed in 14 days. Among them, on Monday, a surface earthquake of 4.1 degrees Richter was registered in Vrancea. Kind of strong… Provoked tectonic movements? According to the Ieşe weekly “7 est”, the physicist Constantin Antohi, associate professor at the Faculty of Hydrotechnical Cadastre and Environmental Engineering, within the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, believes that these atypical earthquakes for the Vrancea area are not the result of natural tectonic activity, but are caused by the use of HAARP-like technology by the Russians, for military purposes. The earthquake interrupted the phone land-lines. “I felt one of the earthquakes and immediately wanted to call my wife. When I called… nothing! The phone was dead! Usually, when the networks are busy, you are told that the subscriber cannot be reached or something like that. Nothing appeared on my phone and I didn’t even hear a message”, declared Constantin Antohi. This oddity made the professor think, who came up with the idea that electromagnetic induction might have taken place.
“I also talked with my colleagues and I realized that an electromagnetic field was produced. I immediately thought of the HAARP phenomenon, based on the inventions of Nikola Tesla (no. – physicist and inventor). Some states have this technology, of emitting microwaves into the ionosphere, and from there, they are reflected to certain points on Earth, to create earthquakes. I think someone from the East is causing earthquakes in the Vrancea area. I think that someone doesn’t want us in NATO!”, said Professor Antohi. In support of his theory, Antohi says that this “HAARP phenomenon” can also cause climate change, something that has also happened here recently. The past few days, for example, our country oscillated within a few hours from temperatures of -15 degrees to plus 10 degrees. Practically, there are temperature jumps of over 20 degrees in just 24 hours. And these changes are too frequent, in the sense that after two or three very cold days, below the annual average, two or three warm days follow, above the annual average.
The HAARP phenomenon also changes the climate
“The HAARP phenomenon can produce these oscillations! At some point, an interruption of the circuit of long-wave atmospheric currents, which propagates rapidly from east to west, may occur. Interrupting, a depression is created, which attracts the current of warm air, from the Sahara”, states the physicist.
Many earthquakes with a large magnitude in 2014
According to a statistic of the National Institute for Earth Physics, in Romania, in the area of Vrancea, since 2009, more and more earthquakes with a magnitude greater than 4.5 have occurred. In 2009, three such earthquakes occurred, the largest being the one on April 25, with a magnitude of 5.4. In 2010, there were only two stronger ones, in 2011 there were also two larger ones, in 2012, one, so that in 2013, there were three, the largest having a magnitude of 5.3. As for last year, there were no less than eight earthquakes with a magnitude of over 4.5, the largest being the one on November 21, which had a magnitude of 5.6. In 2015, no less than five earthquakes have already occurred, three of which were 4.3 degrees.
HAARP (Active Auroral High Frequency Research Program) started in 1992 at the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. It is a scientific project created to determine the behavior of ozone, nitrogen and ions during the bombardment of solar and cosmic radiation, as well as the emission of high or low frequency radiation from the Earth. The project holder is the Department of Defense of the United States, through the US Navy and the US Air Force.
The similar European project, called EISCAT, an acronym for the European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association, is located in Norway and Sweden, the participating countries being Great Britain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, China and Japan.
Russia has developed its own ionospheric research base at Vas i l surk, called SURA.
“Geophysical warfare is that type of conflict that uses environmental modification techniques for military purposes. From a geoclimatic point of view, snow, rain, fog, tornadoes, typhoons, cyclones, hurricanes, drought are created on demand, and from a geophysical point of view, earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, directing asteroids and meteorites, all knowingly done against a potential enemy. This type of war, never declared, started in the 50s.
The most perfected systems in this category are the SURA System from the Russian Federation and HAARP from the USA”, says General Emil Străinu, the only Romanian who has a doctorate in the field of geophysical warfare .
Does Romania also have a geophysical weapon?
Romania also has a strange set of military antennas, which do not resemble anything that the Romanian army has used so far – but rather the HAARP network. It is a system consisting of approximately 40 antennas arranged in two rows. Several military containers are placed nearby – that is, the installation’s command center.
Not a single military specialist could specify what the array of antennas could be.
Moscow attacked Romania with a geophysical weapon before in 2005. At the end of June 2006, the Public Administration Committee of the Senate decided to establish a subcommittee to analyze the reasons for the catastrophic floods in the north of Moldova in 2005, which killed 38 people and devastated 476 localities. At the time, it was suspected that the Russians would have used geophysical weapons to cause torrential rains in Romania. The results of the investigation have remained secret, but simply raising the issue at this level suggests that the situation in the field of geophysical weapons is quite serious. Such technologies are used today in space espionage and in the testing, from a military point of view, of “space, to check the vulnerability of the enemy’s environment from the point of view of the operational response capacity in crisis situations.
Following the conflict in eastern Ukraine, these meteorological anomalies have increased due to the use of geophysical weapons in the confrontation between Russia and NATO forces. Romania, due to its geographical position, is a buffer zone and an experiment zone for such confrontations”, military analyst Silviu Crăescu (photo), president of the National Security Academy, told us.
Scandal in Haiti In 2010, political scientist Claudia von Werlhof of the University of Innsbruk, Austria, advanced the thesis that the 7.3-magnitude earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, following in which 230,000 people lost their lives, and another 300,000 were injured, would have been caused artificially, through the HAARP installation. Her statements created a huge international scandal, and the management of the university accused Werlhof of speaking inappropriately and harming the institution. – Libertatea, 2015
The development of devastating geophysical weapons as part of the United States’ Full Spectrum Dominance strategy is causing serious concern around the world. By Baffour Ankomah
The US military’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP), based at Gakona, Alaska, is the latest electromagnetic, geophysical warfare programme to raise concerns locally and internationally. So much is the concern that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) once interrupted its news programme to run a 15-minute documentary, titled Geophysical Warfare, to alert its viewers.
HAARP’s origins go back to Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-American cult hero whose inventions have influenced so many of the technologies we use today. Tesla theorised about a “Tesla Shield” of electromagnetic weapons which, he said, would protect the Earth from missiles. He also talked about the possibility of electronic particles being turned into a weapon using a beam. In the 1920s and 30s, this idea became known as the ‘Death Ray’.
Tesla’s ideas greatly influenced Dr Bernard Eastlund, an American physicist, who finally registered a patent for an invention that could be used to change the weather, disrupt communications all over the world, and might be used to deflect a missile attack. The biggest attraction of Dr Eastlund’s idea was the ability to blast enemy ballistic missiles from the air.
Eastlund himself was interviewed by the History Channel for its documentary, and he explained that his original plan involved the building of a huge antennae, “big enough and powerful enough to make major modifications to the ionosphere. This was at the height of the Cold War. My focus was on the defence against a major Russian missile occurrence. The plan was to make a shield over Canada, over the United States, over the whole world, which a missile could not penetrate.”
Sky zapper
Eastlund told the CBC: “The basic concept was to build a very large antennae, then to utilise a large amount of power to beam those radio waves up into the upper atmosphere.” Asked if he had approached the US Pentagon with his invention, Eastlund said, “yes, but what I am not able to tell you is the details of what they are going to do.”
The CBC said an American delegate, identified only as Mr X, called the journalist who broke the original story and said: “the maniacs are actually going to do it, up in Alaska”. The maniacs were in the Pentagon and he was convinced that they were conspiring to build Bernard Eastlund’s sky zapper under the guise of a nice research project deep in the Alaskan bush called HAARP.”
Soon word spread in the Alaskan cold recesses and a band of suspicious Alaskans set out to warn people of what they saw as the US military’s secret agenda.
Eventually, HAARP was designed and built by BAE Advanced Technologies, the company Dr Eastlund used to work for. Official construction started in 1993, and the first functional facility was completed by the winter of 1994.
The project was jointly funded by the US Air Force, US Navy, the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, but run by the US military between 1999 and 2014.
According to the US military, the project is “aimed at studying the properties and behaviour of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defence purposes.
But if you believe this, you will also believe that pigs can fly. Judging from the urge to amass electromagnetic/geophysical weapons even before World War II, the benefit of the doubt should be given to Jim Roderick, an American anti-HAARP activist, who says: “The military is incapable of doing pure science. Science is conducted by them for application in weapon systems, for no other reasons.”
Though denied by HAARP officials, some respected researchers insist that HAARP was designed to achieve the US military’s stated goal of gaining full-spectrum dominance of the world from outer space by 2020.
The project was built based on the contents of a 600-page publication, titled Technical Memorandum 195, which the US military forbids its officials to publicly acknowledge.
The US military is not comfortable talking in public about Technical Memorandum 195 because it consists of notes from a secret conference on the breakdown of HAARP, where they were going to use the technology and how it was going to be applied.
In January 1999, the European Union described HAARP as a project of global concern and passed a resolution calling for more information on its health and environmental risks. Despite those concerns, officials at HAARP insist the project is nothing more sinister than a radio science research facility.
The EU resolution came with many bullet points. At bullet point 24, the EU “considers HAARP by virtue of its far-reaching impact on the environment to be a global concern and calls for its legal, ecological and ethical implications to be examined by an international independent body before any further research and testing.” But the US ignored the EU resolution.
Rather HAARP officials claim that “the radio waves in the frequency ranges that HAARP transmits are not absorbed in either the troposphere or the stratosphere – the two levels of the atmosphere that produce the Earth’s weather. Since there is no interaction, there is no way to control the weather.”
The CBC discovered that the small company that owned Eastlund’s patents was later swallowed up by a large military intelligence front company called E-Systems, which in turn was swallowed up by another bigger corporation that specialises in super-secret contracts with the Pentagon.
In the end, by 2014, when more eyes and tongues became focussed on HAARP and the controversy over its impact on the world’s weather system grew, the US military turned HAARP over to the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) in August 2015 to be run by the university. But nobody was fooled
The Los Alamos Laboratory which was the principal site of the Manhattan Project that built the atomic bomb was operated by the University of California during World War II. Project Seal that experimented with the tsunami bomb was operated by the University of Auckland. So transferring HAARP to the control of the University of Alaska Fairbanks changes nothing about its essential military nature. In fact the military is only behaving to type.
Idai – experiment gone wrong?
Why people are questioning if Cyclone Idai was caused by a HAARP event gone awry is because the cyclone nearly coincided with the latest HAARP research campaign on 25-28 March 2019. Far from being “conspiracy theorists”, these people are not saying Idai was a direct electromagnetic attack on Mozambique or Zimbabwe, but that Idai could have been an electromagnetic experiment gone wrong.
Since HAARP was transferred to the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2015, five research campaigns have been conducted: (a) 19-23 February 2017, (b) 21-25 September 2017, (c) 6-14 April 2018, (d) 30 July-1 Aug 2018, and (e) 29 Nov-3 Dec 2018.
Idai’s landfall on the Mozambican coast on the night of 14 March was 11 days before HAARP’s next advertised research campaign began on 25-28 March. All things being equal, one can safely say this research campaign might have had nothing to do with Idai.
But, as we all know, all things are not always equal in this world, particularly judging from how the world has been run in the past, and continues to be run, by the puppet masters. Therefore the people who are asking the world to look at Idai beyond it being a mere natural disaster deserve to be heard, even if they are making fools of themselves.
As at now, no one can say with an absolute yes that Idai was caused by electromagnetic warfare, or an absolute no that it was not caused by electromagnetic warfare. Only time will tell. But looking at the sheer quantum of the destruction wrought by Idai and the fierceness of the cyclone in general, one is tempted to say nature would have been more merciful if it sired this cyclone from its massive loins.

European Union was a weird hybrid concept car built around Germany as engine, with UK foras wheel, and I’m not sure what France is supposed to be, looks more like a glove compartment, but sometimes acts as brake.
But UK left and I bet my ass it’s because they had inside intel on the impeding Euro-crash, so they didn’t want to stick around and go down with EU or be blamed for it. Nowadays, many blame Brexit for UK’s record- low economic performance lately, but it has little to do, and wait just a bit to witness the remainer countries getting mushed into war mud until dissolution, followed by some demented Build Back Better / Marshall Plan. Some analysts rightfully said US is not at war with Russia, but with the competing EU economy. I’d tune that a notch: US has started a blood transfusion from European veins. The wars are just how they explain it to plebs.

We’ve all heard of existing cancer cures, whether you believe in them or not, you can’t rationally hope they will be made available to plebs for as long a Pharmafia exists.
Goldman Sachs asks in biotech research report: ‘Is curing patients a sustainable business model?’
Goldman Sachs analysts attempted to address a touchy subject for biotech companies, especially those involved in the pioneering “gene therapy” treatment: cures could be bad for business in the long run.
“Is curing patients a sustainable business model?” analysts ask in an April 10 report entitled “The Genome Revolution.”
“The potential to deliver ‘one shot cures’ is one of the most attractive aspects of gene therapy, genetically-engineered cell therapy and gene editing. However, such treatments offer a very different outlook with regard to recurring revenue versus chronic therapies,” analyst Salveen Richter wrote in the note to clients Tuesday. “While this proposition carries tremendous value for patients and society, it could represent a challenge for genome medicine developers looking for sustained cash flow.”
Richter cited Gilead Sciences’ treatments for hepatitis C, which achieved cure rates of more than 90 percent. The company’s U.S. sales for these hepatitis C treatments peaked at $12.5 billion in 2015, but have been falling ever since. Goldman estimates the U.S. sales for these treatments will be less than $4 billion this year, according to a table in the report.
“Gilead is a case in point, where the success of its hepatitis C franchise has gradually exhausted the available pool of treatable patients,” the analyst wrote. “In the case of infectious diseases such as hepatitis C, curing existing patients also decreases the number of carriers able to transmit the virus to new patients, thus the incident pool also declines … Where an incident pool remains stable (eg, in cancer) the potential for a cure poses less risk to the sustainability of a franchise.”
The analyst didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
The report suggested three potential solutions for biotech firms:
“Solution 1: Address large markets: Hemophilia is a $9-10bn WW market (hemophilia A, B), growing at ~6-7% annually.”
“Solution 2: Address disorders with high incidence: Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) affects the cells (neurons) in the spinal cord, impacting the ability to walk, eat, or breathe.”
“Solution 3: Constant innovation and portfolio expansion: There are hundreds of inherited retinal diseases (genetics forms of blindness) … Pace of innovation will also play a role as future programs can offset the declining revenue trajectory of prior assets.”
So you don’t see anyone pushing for any cures.

Biden’s moonshot examined: Researchers say cancer cure is a long ways off
The White House is pressing ahead, saying a combination of research on cures and prevention efforts will end the scourge.

President Joe Biden’s pledge to “end cancer as we know it” is a rare sliver of common ground between Democrats and Republicans.
Congress has appropriated $1.8 billion for the “cancer moonshot” Biden began in 2016, and the positive reaction to Biden’s request for more during Tuesday’s State of the Union suggests it’s eager to maintain the momentum.
But cancer researchers are less unified about the moonshot than Washington policymakers. A contrarian cadre question whether the money appropriated is being well spent. Cancer research is funded well enough, they said, and investing more in high-tech individualized treatments is more likely to help the wealthy live longer than it is to save those most likely to die of the disease: the poor and people of color.
“It’s a lot harder than getting a man to the moon,” Gilbert Welch, an internist and senior investigator at the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, said of curing cancer. “It’s a very complex set of diseases. You need to think of it as a family of diseases. The moon is just one thing. Just gotta get there. This is hundreds of different things.”
Biden wants to press ahead on a bipartisan initiative. He has called on Congress to maintain funding for the 2016 law that launched the moonshot, the 21st Century Cures Act. He pledged to cut cancer death rates by 50 percent in the next 25 years and to turn fatal cancers into treatable diseases.
Biden also has asked Congress to reauthorize the National Cancer Act, signed into law by President Richard Nixon in 1971. Reauthorization would help the National Cancer Institute support researchers around the country by building clinical trial networks and more robust data systems, according to Danielle Carnival, the White House’s moonshot coordinator.
But some experts, such as Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and former White House adviser, said there’s plenty of money devoted to cancer research. The National Cancer Institute had a nearly $6.4 billion budget for cancer research in 2021 and its annual spend has been growing since 2015. Cancer non-profits like the American Cancer Institute also raise hundreds of millions of dollars every year.

Additionally, the pharmaceutical industry is incentivized to put money behind increasingly lucrative cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. Research shows that from 2010 to 2019 revenue generated from cancer medicines increased 70 percent among the top 10 pharmaceutical companies to reach $95 billion.
And not everyone thinks more funding is a good thing. “There’s so much money sloshing around,” Welch said of the cancer industry, adding, “Both academic and biotech or industry are excessively enthusiastic and just trying to put out as many products as they can.”
We’ve overinvested in cancer, according to Welch, especially in expensive cancer drugs with modest or unproven benefit for patients and in screenings — Welch’s research area. He’s particularly opposed to the Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act, sponsored by Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Ala.), which would require Medicare to cover cancer blood tests if they’re approved by the FDA. From Welch’s vantage point, benefits from screenings have been exaggerated, while its harms have been minimized.
Other critics, such as Keith Humphreys, a public health professor at Stanford University who has published academic articles on the link between alcohol use and cancer, see cancer prevention as a more immediate way to save lives.
Managing disease and curing it
The president’s agenda goes beyond money, Carnival told POLITICO, emphasizing prevention efforts, such as improving nutrition for kids, discouraging smoking, and decreasing environmental risks.
“We’re going to have to reach more people with the tools we already have and those we develop along the way,” Carnival said. “The purview is much broader than research. I don’t think anyone would say we have all of the research advancements and knowledge and treatments that we need today to end cancer as we know it.”
Those closely involved in developing cutting-edge cancer therapeutics said the field has shifted dramatically in recent years. It’s gone from treating cancer as a chronic disease, to trying to cure patients.
During his medical fellowship in the early 2000s, improving patient survival by months or years was the goal, explained Marco Davila, a physician-scientist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, N.Y., who helped pioneer some of the first CAR-T cell therapies for patients with blood cancer.
Since then, treatment breakthroughs for some previously incurable cancer have upended the cancer-as-chronic-disease philosophy. Now, doctors and researchers believe cancer-curing therapies are within reach. “It’s changed the nature of how we manage patients. There’s that option there. It’s on the table,” Davila said.
For Davila, moonshot funds earmarked for cancer research and therapies created a new pool of money for his work. It doesn’t fix the problem of underfunded science as a whole, he said, but it makes his work as a cancer researcher a priority.
“It’s great for us, because that’s our field. It’s also great for patients, because cancer is still going to be one of the most common causes of people’s death in the United States,” Davila said. (In the U.S., it’s second behind heart disease, taking more than 600,000 lives in 2020, the most recent year for which there are statistics.)
Indeed, since the late 1980s, scientists have developed effective treatments for lung cancer, breast cancer and Hodgkin’s lymphoma. There are caveats, of course. They don’t work for all patients.
“It’s maybe 20 percent, 30 percent,” Davila said. The goal now is to keep improving those cure rates over time — to 50 percent or 60 percent, for example.
“Will it get to 100 percent in your lifetime? I don’t know,” he said.
What Davila does know is that each 10 percent cure-rate increase means saving tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of lives.
‘Prevention takes action’
But some cancer experts said there’s a downside to the shift toward precision medicine and individualized treatments. Attempting to test everyone or characterize every tumor more precisely is a bit of magical thinking, according to Welch.
“The more you subset people, the more difficult it is to know whether your treatments help. It’s too small of a group,” Welch said. “It used to be just lung cancer. Now we’ve got eight genetic variants we’re testing in adenocarcinomas of the lung,” he added.
“Ironically, the more precise we get, the more types of cancer there are, as we genetically signature each cancer, all of a sudden we don’t really know what to do with any one of them.”
Others think there needs to be a fundamental shift away from screening and treatment and toward preventing cancer in the first place.
“It’s terrific when we develop new treatments for cancer, but it certainly is always better to prevent something than to treat it,” said Humphreys, who served as a drug policy adviser under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
“Very high-end, complicated treatments are never going to be accessible to the whole population,” he added. “Congress could definitely do more.”

Tobacco taxation is widely considered one of the most effective practices in preventing people from starting to smoke in the first place, leading existing smokers to quit, and reducing deaths from tobacco-related cancers. Humphreys said Congress could take the same taxation approach to the alcohol industry. “We have very good evidence that when we raise the federal alcohol tax that fewer people die,” he said.
While broad blood-based cancer screening may not be a cost-effective strategy for stopping cancer early, targeted cancer screening for colorectal, breast, cervical, prostate, and lung cancers could be. Rules could stoke participation or ensure that patients on Medicaid, who are more likely to be at risk of cancer, are getting regular screenings.
“It’s important to acknowledge that our biggest success in cancer really reflects prevention,” Welch said. “It’s nothing fancy. It’s discouraging cigarette smoking.”
There’s a lot of money already in the moonshot cancer system. It just needs to be redirected and allocated differently, said Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist and former White House adviser.
The White House touts prevention in its moonshot agenda. In 2022, the first year of the reignited moonshot, the FDA proposed rules to prohibit menthol cigarettes. Among other agenda items, the moonshot program plans to increase cancer screenings in at-risk communities and facilitate donations of sunscreen to schools and youth organizations.
But prevention is a trickier cancer-prevention mechanism than treatment. It could mean cleaning up Superfund sites or removing lead pipes to reduce environmental cancer risk. It often requires people to change their behavior — to drink less alcohol and exercise more or stop smoking — a more challenging mission at the population level than directing patients to take a pill or offering them a diagnostic test.
“It’s not necessarily clear how one spends money on prevention,” Welch acknowledged. “It’s much easier to sell a test or a drug. It’s a concrete thing. Prevention takes action on the part of individuals,” he said. “You gotta say, that’s harder.”
More funding wouldn’t necessarily solve the problem, according to Emanuel.
There’s a lot of money already in the system. It just needs to be redirected and allocated differently, Emanuel explained.
Who is spending that money also matters. The government sponsors roughly one-third of clinical cancer research, according to Emanuel. Industry accounts for the remaining two-thirds of funding. “It’s good that they’ve got a lot of drugs that they’re testing. What’s bad is having industry shape the clinical research agenda, because industry has a bias.”
Emanuel’s solution: stronger government leadership and more non-industry sponsors.
“The NCI [National Cancer Institute] is the biggest NIH institute,” Emanuel said. “It’s not exactly like they’re starving.”

Mechanisms and physiology of the clearance of dead cells by efferocytosis
“Unlike PAMPs, which are derived from microbes, damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) are of cellular origin and can be liberated upon cell death. DAMPs trigger inflammatory responses, and may also serve as chemoattractants for macrophages. DAMPs are metabolically diverse entities, including genomic and mitochondrial DNA, nuclear proteins (HMGB, histones)25, cytoplasmic proteins (S100), cytokines (IL-1α, IL-33, IL-36), and other small molecules (ATP, UTP, uric acid crystals) (Table 1)26. In addition, inflammasome [G] -mediated caspase-1 activation generates inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and IL-18 during pyroptosis (see Box 1) that lead to inflammatory immune activation after cellular demise.27 Below, we review the relevance of DAMPs during efferocytosis, the ability of DAMPs to modulate inflammation, and specific DAMPs and their effects.
DNA as a DAMP.
Several mechanisms ensure low DNA burden following apoptotic death and contribute to its immune-silent phenotype. In healthy cells, caspase-activated DNase (CAD) exists in complex with its inhibitory chaperone ICAD and remains constitutively inactive in the cytosol28,29. Active caspase-3 cleaves ICAD28,30, promoting CAD homodimerization, nuclear translocation, and DNA hydrolysis between nucleosomes. Nuclear pieces are then neatly packaged with cytoplasm into apoptotic bodies that are eventually digested during efferocytosis31. In contrast, nuclear and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), as well as pathogen-derived DNA molecules in those cells dying due to an infection, can be released to the extracellular environment from non-apoptotic dying cells. Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) is activated by unmethylated CpG sequences such as those found in mtDNA or bacterial DNA (Table 1), and activation of TLR9 triggers downstream inflammatory responses. circulating DNA DAMPs can accumulate in the body in cases where non-apoptotic cell death is widespread; for example, mtDNA was found to be elevated in the plasma of trauma patients32, likely as a result of injury-induced cell death.
DNA in the extracellular environment is processed by DNase-I33, while DNase-III (also known as TREX1) clears cytoplasmic DNA34, and DNase-II processes DNA from dying cells in the phagocyte’s lysosomes to help maintain negligible levels of DNA following efferocytosis. Should DNA escape to the cytosol, it can be recognized by cytosolic DNA sensors35, including cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS) and the inflammasome component AIM2. cGAS is activated upon cytosolic DNA binding and subsequently catalyzes a reaction between GTP and ATP to form cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAMP)36. The newly synthesized cGAMP binds to and activates the stimulator of interferon genes protein (STING), leading to TANK binding kinase 1 (TBK1)-dependent phosphorylation of the interferon regulatory factor IRF337. These events trigger the IRF3-mediated activation of a Type I interferon response.
DNase-II-deficient or DNase III-deficient mice die during embryogenesis and this embryonic lethality can be prevented if the response to misplaced DNA is abrogated through deletion of cGAS, STING, or the Type-I interferon receptor (IFNAR)38–41. It is possible that these DNases function to limit cytosolic DNA following efferocytosis during development, thereby preventing this lethal interferonopathy, although how the DNA of engulfed corpses might be released from the phagosome or lysosome to become cytosolic, triggering such responses, remains unknown.
Similarly, recognition of cytosolic DNA by AIM2 causes AIM2 to recruit and activate caspase-1, resulting in IL-1β processing and release, contributing to inflammation42,43. Again, when and how defects in the clearance of DNA during efferocytosis may engage AIM2 remains unclear.
Protein DAMPs.
High mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1) is a nuclear protein that binds to DNA and assists replication, repair and transcription44,45,46. Although some HMGB1 can be released to the extracellular milieu under steady state conditions47 or during apoptosis48, it is predominantly released during forms of immunogenic cell death25. Efficient efferocytosis can thus limit the release of HMGB1. Based on its redox status, HMGB1 can function as a chemotactic agent (reduced) or as an inflammatory agent (oxidized)49. In its reduced form, HMGB1 can prevent the induction of immune tolerance [G] to antigens associated with the dying cell48. Reduced HMGB1 may bind to TLRs or the receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) (Table 1)50, leading to immune cell activation and cytokine production. Recently, binding of reduced HMGB1 to the chemokine receptor CXCR4 was observed during tissue regeneration following injury51, highlighting the possible importance of this molecule in the response to dying cells. S100 proteins can also be released from dying cells52, and efferocytosis can limit the release of these proteins from dying cells. Again, TLRs and RAGE appear to be the primary receptors on macrophages that promote inflammatory activation in response to S100 proteins.”
Efferocytosis is critical for tissue homeostasis.Efferocytosis can be carried out by professional phagocytes (red boxes), such as macrophages and dendritic cells, or to a lesser extent by non-professional phagocytes (blue boxes) such as epithelial cells. Disruption of normal efferocytosis can contribute to the development of a wide range of pathologies (light grey boxes) across a variety of tissues. (dark grey boxes). The SARS-CoV-2 virus is still spreading worldwide, and there is an urgent need to effectively prevent and control this pandemic. This study evaluated the potential efficacy of Egg Yolk Antibodies (IgY) as a neutralizing agent against the SARS-CoV-2. We investigated the neutralizing effect of anti-spike-S1 IgYs on the SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, as well as its inhibitory effect on the binding of the coronavirus spike protein mutants to human ACE2. Our results show that the anti-Spike-S1 IgYs showed significant neutralizing potency against SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, various spike protein mutants, and even SARS-CoV in vitro. It might be a feasible tool for the prevention and control of ongoing COVID-19.
Coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has become a global pandemic disease that has social and economic chaos. An alternative mitigation strategy may involve the use of specific immunoglobulin (Ig)-Y derived from chicken eggs. Our study aimed to evaluate the neutralizing potential of specific IgY targeting S1, receptor-binding-domain (RBD) of spike glycoprotein and nucleocapsid (N) of SARS-CoV-2 to inhibit RBD and angiotensin-converting-enzyme-2 (ACE2) binding interaction. Hy-Line Brown laying hens were immunized with recombinant S1, RBD spike glycoprotein, and nucleocapsid (N) of SARS-CoV-2. The presence of specific S1,RBD,N-IgY in serum and egg yolk was verified by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Specific S1,RBD,N-IgY was purified and characterized from egg yolk using sodium-dodecyl-sulfate-polyacrylamide-gel-electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), and was subsequently evaluated for inhibition of the RBD-ACE2 binding interaction in vitro. Specific IgY was present in serum at 1 week post-initial immunization (p.i.i), whereas its present in egg yolk was confirmed at 4 weeks p.i.i. Specific S1,RBD,N-IgY in serum was able to inhibit RBD-ACE2 binding interaction between 4 and 15 weeks p.i.i. The results of the SDS-PAGE revealed the presence of bands with molecular weights of 180 kDa, indicating the presence of whole IgY. Our results demonstrated that S1,RBD,N-IgY was able to inhibit RBD-ACE2 binding interaction in vitro, suggesting its potential use in blocking virus entry. Our study also demonstrated proof-of-concept that laying hens were able to produce this specific IgY, which could block the viral binding and large production of this specific IgY is feasible.
Aims: COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has become a public health crisis worldwide. In this study, we aimed at demonstrating the neutralizing potential of the IgY produced after immunizing chicken with a recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1 subunit.
Methods and results: E. coli BL21 carrying plasmid pET28a-S1 was induced with IPTG for the expression of SARS-CoV-2 S1 protein. The recombinant His-tagged S1 was purified and verified by SDS-PAGE, Western blot and biolayer interferometry (BLI) assay. Then S1 protein emulsified with Freund’s adjuvant was used to immunize layer chickens. Specific IgY against S1 (S1-IgY) produced from egg yolks of these chickens exhibited a high titer (1:25,600) and a strong binding affinity to S1 (KD = 318 nmol L-1 ). The neutralizing ability of S1-IgY was quantified by a SARS-CoV-2 pseudotyped virus-based neutralization assay with an IC50 value of 0.99 mg ml-1 . In addition, S1-IgY exhibited a strong ability in blocking the binding of SARS-CoV-2 S1 to hACE2, and it could partially compete with hACE2 for the binding sites on S1 by BLI assays.
Conclusions: We demonstrated here that after immunization of chickens with our recombinant S1 protein, IgY neutralizing antibodies were generated against the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1 subunit; therefore, showing the potential use of IgY to block the entry of this virus.
Significance and impact of the study: IgY targeting S1 subunit of SARS-CoV-2 could be a promising candidate for pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis or treatment of COVID-19. Administration of IgY-based oral preparation, oral or nasal spray may have profound implications for blocking SARS-CoV-2.
Egg-Derived Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Immunoglobulin Y (IgY) With Broad Variant Activity as Intranasal Prophylaxis Against COVID-19
COVID-19 emergency use authorizations and approvals for vaccines were achieved in record time. However, there remains a need to develop additional safe, effective, easy-to-produce, and inexpensive prevention to reduce the risk of acquiring SARS-CoV-2 infection. This need is due to difficulties in vaccine manufacturing and distribution, vaccine hesitancy, and, critically, the increased prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 variants with greater contagiousness or reduced sensitivity to immunity. Antibodies from eggs of hens (immunoglobulin Y; IgY) that were administered the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein were developed for use as nasal drops to capture the virus on the nasal mucosa. Although initially raised against the 2019 novel coronavirus index strain (2019-nCoV), these anti-SARS-CoV-2 RBD IgY surprisingly had indistinguishable enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay binding against variants of concern that have emerged, including Alpha (B.1.1.7), Beta (B.1.351), Delta (B.1.617.2), and Omicron (B.1.1.529). This is different from sera of immunized or convalescent patients. Culture neutralization titers against available Alpha, Beta, and Delta were also indistinguishable from the index SARS-CoV-2 strain. Efforts to develop these IgY for clinical use demonstrated that the intranasal anti-SARS-CoV-2 RBD IgY preparation showed no binding (cross-reactivity) to a variety of human tissues and had an excellent safety profile in rats following 28-day intranasal delivery of the formulated IgY. A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled phase 1 study evaluating single-ascending and multiple doses of anti-SARS-CoV-2 RBD IgY administered intranasally for 14 days in 48 healthy adults also demonstrated an excellent safety and tolerability profile, and no evidence of systemic absorption. As these antiviral IgY have broad selectivity against many variants of concern, are fast to produce, and are a low-cost product, their use as prophylaxis to reduce SARS-CoV-2 viral transmission warrants further evaluation.
I found more science backing this, but sufficiency is underrated in our society, I’d like to set a good example.

The full text of the non-paper entitled “Coronavirus Research Conducted by Dr. Ralph Baric’s Team at University of North Carolina.”
Dr. Ralph Baric and his team from the UNC have been systematically working on coronavirus-related researches for a long time, including Gain-of-Function (GOF) research. They possess synthetic biology techniques used for manipulation and modification of coronavirus genome and have applied for multiple patents related to coronavirus research.
In the aftermath of the SARS outbreak in 2003, the Baric team collaborated with the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) and developed a novel reverse genetic system for synthesis of a full-length cDNA of the SARS-CoV, which was published in a paper in 2003. The paper claimed that within two months after obtaining the RNA of the SARS virus, the full-length cDNA of the virus was successfully synthesized, which shows that as early as 2003, these institutes already had advanced capabilities to synthesize and modify SARS-related coronavirus.
In December 2008, Dr. Baric co-authored another paper on the successful reconstitution of a chimeric virus with the genome backbone from a bat SARS-like coronavirus and the receptor binding domain (RBD) from SARS-CoV using similar synthetic biology techniques, arguing that the design and synthesis of various SARS-related coronaviruses are important steps to prevent similar outbreaks in the future.
It is worth noting that the Baric team has close collaboration with the USAMRIID, and they co-own the patent related to manipulation of coronavirus genome and have published multiple papers together. The scope of this cooperative relationship was further expanded after Lisa Hensley, one of Dr. Baric’s students, joined the USAMRIID.
In November 2015, the Baric team published a paper titled “A SARS-like Cluster of Circulating Bat Coronaviruses Shows Potential for Human Emergence”. According to the paper, a chimeric coronavirus was made with the genome backbone from a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV virus provided by the U.S. team and the RBD from a bat SARS-related CoV SHC014 discovered by Zhengli Shi’s team from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Dr. Baric’s lab tested the pathogenesis of the chimeric virus in mice and even reconstituted the full length SHC014 virus. In this study, both the virus modification and the experiment on mouse infection were conducted at the UNC and the chimeric virus was not provided to Shi’s team.
Some people in the United States claim that GOF researches by the Wuhan Institute of Virology have caused bat coronaviruses to mutate into SARS-CoV-2 and a lab leak led to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a matter of fact, the United States have sponsored and carried out more such researches than any other country. In particular, the Baric team leads the world in researches in this field. A thorough investigation into Dr. Baric’s lab will help clarify whether such researches have led to or can lead to SARS-CoV-2.

Netanyahu has already discussed the organization of the resettlement and settlement of Jews, as well as possible economic and political assistance in the implementation of the project, with the current Prime Minister of Ukraine V. Groisman , Prime Minister of the Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev , senior adviser to US President Donald Trump and a member of the influential Jewish organization Chabad Lubavitch , Jared Kushner .
It is noteworthy that despite its scale of the project, it is not covered either in the world or even in the local Ukrainian press (meaning the central media channels), with very rare exceptions.
Almost all information about the project implementation comes from its executive director Igor Berkut . Video interviews of I. Berkut, covering the progress of the project, are posted on the YouTube channel “Rassvet”.
The official announcement of the New Jerusalem project is planned to be made after the adoption of the law on the decentralization of Ukraine in 2021-2022. In July 2019, Switzerland allocated €25 million, including for the decentralization of Ukraine [8] [n1].
The New Jerusalem project started in early 2017 with the landing in the port of Odessa of the first group of immigrants from Israel, headed by I. Berkut [2, 19:40]. This group of 183 Jewish pioneers arrived in Ukraine from Haifa ( Israel ) to lay the first stone in the foundation of Heavenly Jerusalem on the fertile land of southern Ukraine.
The management of the New Jerusalem will be entrusted to the “Council of Benevolent” consisting of 12 leaders [9] :
1. A native of Kiev , Golda Meir , 5th Prime Minister of the State of Israel, was declared Honorary Eternal Head of the Council;
2. B. Netanyahu will become the Chairman-Prime Minister, after the completion of the powers of the Prime Minister in the State of Israel ;
4. Defense issues will be in charge of the current Minister of Defense of Israel, a native of Chisinau, Avigdor Lieberman ;
5. The secret services will be headed by Yakov Kedmi , former head of the Nativ Bureau for Relations with Jews of the USSR and Eastern Europe, who was born in Moscow ;
11. The chief rabbi is supposed to appoint an ethnic Ashkenazi Khazar version of the appearance of this branch of the tree of Israel;
12. Hidden Apostle
It is planned to create two capitals in New Jerusalem [10] : the first, political and business capital, will be located in today’s city of Dnepropetrovsk and will be called consonant with the New Jerusalem project, the second, cultural, will be located in Odessa and will be called “Adessa”.
Reforms in Ukraine
The New Jerusalem project is consulted by the Polish Minister of Finance Leszek Balcerowicz [11] [12] , who, together with I. Berkut and other participants, is the author of economic reforms in Ukraine. According to the authors of the reforms, the depopulation of the population should become the basis for the welfare of the citizens of the future Ukraine: “The main principle of the reform is that the smaller the population, the higher the GDP per capita. Therefore, the main way of reform is a steady gradual decrease in the population of the country,” admits I. Berkut [13] [14] .
In accordance with these reforms, in 2017 the Minister of Social Affairs politician A. Reva said [15] [16] : “Ukrainians are not only too many, but they still eat a lot.” V. Groysman, in turn, found the courage and for the first time in the history of Ukraine said [17] [18] : “Ukrainians study too much.” I (I. Berkut) and V. Financing
As of the end of 2016, I. Berkut cites the following sources of funding for the project as part of economic reforms in Ukraine [19] : $250,000 from one of the IMF tranches ($1 billion), $250,000 from the F4 fund (Ukrainian Economy Modernization Fund, Switzerland , “Friedman, Feldman, Fishman and Firtash”), we hope to receive another $ 450,000 from the George Soros Foundation .
In another video [20] , the executive director of the project speaks as follows: The foundation (financial) is laid by divine providence. Today, 2-3 billionaires leave for the other world every day. If they leave all the inheritance to their relatives, it will harm them. They can donate money to the project. Assistance is also expected from the billionaires of Kazakhstan, Russia and many other countries. This will be assistance from Russia, Germany, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, the House of Rothschild , the USA, from hundreds of family funds, from Hollywood , from Apple , Facebook , Google .
In July 2019, Ukraine received funding from Switzerland (€25 million), the EU (€137 + 29.5 million) and technical assistance from the US ($695 million) [21] . We are talking about supporting public administration reforms and qualitative changes in the provision of services, as well as decentralization.
Criticism
Despite the scale of the project, its consistency with high-ranking people (B. Netanyahu, D. A. Medvedev, V. Groysman, Jared Kushner, Leszek Balcerowych), it is not covered either in the world or even in the local Ukrainian press (on central channels) . The exception is the Israeli press [22] .
In his informative videos, I. Berkut speaks more than once about the outstanding figure of our time , Lee Kuan Yew , the creator of the Singaporean ” economic miracle “. I. Berkut cites this statesman as an example, and speaks of Singapore as a possible development model for New Jerusalem. At the same time, the approach of I. Berkut to the financing and development of the project is based, respectively, on the desire to receive money from global corporations [20] and the depopulation of the population of Ukraine [13]. The fact is that from the book of Lee Kuan Yew “Singapore history. From the “third world – to the first” it follows that Lee Kuan Yew has nothing to do with the approach of I. Berkut to the development of the state. He never counted on “foreign” money and dealt with the solution of numerous problems and the development of Singapore, relying only on his exceptional mind and human resource, never resorting to population depopulation.
I. Berkut, speaking in a video interview on the YouTube channel “Rassvet” about the New Jerusalem project, makes many shocking statements, which, according to critics, indicate that he suffers from chauvinism . So, at the beginning of the video [23] , a picture of the future “New Jerusalem” is presented with an explanation: “the dog in the picture represents all peoples except the Jewish and Ukrainian”
To the question of one of the spectators [24] : “I will not allow a Jewish project to be built on my land”, I. Berkut answers: “dear Petya, there is nothing of yours there and never has been. Petya – you are a disappearing small particle of biomass that the wind of change brought into our objective reality. This was explained to you under Kravchuk, under Yushchenko, etc. Petya, look around and see where you are and remember – there is nothing there, there was not and there will not be anything of yours ”
Speaking about a possible threat to Israel, I. Berkut reports [25] that in this case, from the territory of Heavenly Jerusalem, nuclear strikes by medium-range missiles with nuclear warheads (prohibited by the INF Treaty, INF Treaty ) will be launched on, possibly, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran. Quote [26] : “Thanks to Crimea, we can bomb with impunity any state that acts from anti-Semitic or anti-Israeli positions from the Heavenly Jerusalem … even if Turkey prohibits the passage of missiles over its territory, then a nuclear strike will also be inflicted on it”
Interesting Facts
Answering the question: “Do the Jews plan to leave Israel completely in the future?” I. Berkut spoke as follows: “Jews will not leave Israel until our Sun goes out and turns into a white dwarf, which will happen in about 7 billion years” [27] [28] [29] . The fact is that before the moment of transformation into a white dwarf, the sun will go through a phase of significant increase in size and increase in its brightness. This will happen in 3.5 billion years. By that time, the water from the surface of the planet will completely disappear, volatilizing into space. This catastrophe will lead to the destruction of all forms of life on Earth. It is very unlikely that the Jews will remain in Israel at that time.
Reflecting on the future of convenient transport between Israel and New Jerusalem, I. Berkut allows the use of comfortable airships. Interestingly, they will be equipped with everything that the soul of a Jew desires, including swimming pools and playgrounds [30] .
Two existing nuclear power plants in the territory of the future New Jerusalem are supposed to be used for bitcoin mining [31] . The mining of a cryptocurrency like bitcoin is based on the “ proof of work ” (PoW) method, in which the probability of creating the next block is higher with the owner of more powerful equipment. An alternative to it is the “ proof of ownership ” method (Proof-of-stake, PoS), in which the probability of the participant forming the next block in the blockchainis proportional to the share that the accounting units of this cryptocurrency belong to this participant from their total number. In view of the fact that PoS does not require significant expenditures of electricity, cryptocurrencies based on this principle seem to be more promising at the moment.
I. Berkut, talking about New Jerusalem, repeatedly refers to chapter 21 of the Revelation of John the Theologian , which deals with the second coming of Christ and the creation (more precisely, the descent from heaven) of Heavenly Jerusalem [32] [33] [34] [35] . Also, based on Revelation, the composition of the council of benefactors of Heavenly Jerusalem is chosen [9] . Moreover, if the Revelation speaks of representatives of the twelve tribes of Israel, then the Jews are elected to the council of benefactors without regard to belonging to any tribes. This fact may be due to the fact that 10 of the 12 tribes of Israel are considered lost .
During the implementation of the “Heavenly Jerusalem” project, the conflict between the Galicians and the Jewish community in Ukraine was exposed. In one of the videos [36] I. Berkut reads a poem from a certain Jew Mikhail Fonkin called “To the slanderers of Jerusalem”, which is clearly a parody of A. S. Pushkin’s poem “To the slanderers of Russia” [37] . Moreover, I. Berkut does not give references to A. S. Pushkin, but presents this mix as an insight of this very Fonkin. Two points from “Fonkin’s poem” can be noted: the words of A. S. Pushkin “redeemed with blood” were replaced with “redeemed with money; also the words “you did not read these bloody tablets” were replaced with “you did not read either the Protocols of the Wise Men or the Tablets of Moses … “Here we are talking about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion , the main document”The Jewish-Masonic Conspiracy , as well as the Pentateuch of Moses and the Talmud – the main books of Judaism.

The Planned Jewish Migration Out of Israel

On March 16, 2014 the Times of Israel published a little discussed pieced titled Leaked Report: Israel Acknowledges Jews in Fact Khazars; Secret Plan for Reverse Migration to Ukraine. Just four weeksbefore this explosive publication, on February 18, 2014, the official and democratic government of Ukraine was ousted and a Jewish-supported new interim government was appointed. Both of these occurrences can be connected to the larger construction of a new world capital in Kazakhstan called Astana (see image).
The Times of Israel piece is important because, for the first time, there is a semi-official pronouncement of the Khazarian heritage of Eastern European Jews who migrated to the land of Palestine and established the nation of Israel.
This idea was first promoted by the Hungarian historian Arthur Koestler in his 1976 book titled The Thirteenth Tribe. Koestler suffered heavy criticism and his book was the target of a massive propaganda campaign meant to discredit his work. The fact that an official Jewish publication is now discussing a “secret report” promoting the same conclusion should not go unnoticed by the large contingent of online scholars and historians.
The Khazars were a Mongol-Tatar people (see map below) who converted to Judaism en masse during a tumultuous time in Eastern European history. Surrounded on both sides by the warring religions – Christianity and Islam, the Khazar Empire choose the path of Judaic conversation as a means of stemming off invasion from either of its larger neighbors.
In the 11th Century, the Russian Empire conquered Khazaria and destroyed any possibility of a larger establishment of a Khazarian/Jewish homeland in Eastern Europe. Centuries later, the Khazarian remnants gained a level of revenge by orchestrating the Bolshevik Revolution and murdering the Russian monarch family the Romanovs.
It is probable, but not easily proven, that after Lenin’s death and the rise of Stalin, the Soviet Union once again came under control of the ethnic Russians. This lasted until the fall of the Berlin Wall and the complete collapse of the USSR, at which time the foreign encouraged oligarchs who contributed to the economic downfall of the Union established a de facto business and industrial dictatorship over what remained.
Ironically, the nation of Israel established diplomatic ties with the former Soviet Union member state of Kazakhstan in 1991, along with others, such as Georgia. The relationship between Israel and Kazakhstan has grown at a steady pace and includes coordination along political, trade, economic, defense, and intelligence lines.
Since the rise of Vladimir Putin in Russia and the arrest and expulsion of the oligarchs, there has been an exodus of ethnic Russians from Kazakhstan back to the motherland. This migration has included Russian doctors, teachers, scientists, and other prominent members of society. As such, Israel has been providing Kazakhstan with an increase in Jewish expertise in those same areas as relations tighten even further.
In addition, 25% of Israel’s oil comes from Kazakhstan. This is set to grow substantially in the coming years as Israel finds itself further isolated diplomatically and will be forced to give up the West Bank and possibly the Gaza Strip in order to appease international pressure. Settlers from these areas have already begun to migrate into Kazakhstan, but not at the anticipated pace of migration into Eastern Ukraine.
As strained relations between Russia and Kazakhstan increase, and military bases on both sides of the border are hardened, the battle for control of Eastern Ukraine quietly continues without much coverage in the Western media. This war is meant to remove the ethnic and Russian speaking majority from the east of the country – a region which made up a large section of the Khazar Empire a thousand years before.
When the map of ancient Khazar is superimposed over a modern map of Eastern Europe, we can clearly see the importance of Ukraine and Crimea, as well as other areas of past tension and war, such as Georgia.

After graduating from school number 10, he entered and successfully graduated from the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School. Why does the “former spy” need Severodonetsk?
I will not speak for a long time about the book, in which the probable scenarios for the dismemberment of Ukraine are described with particular voluptuousness. I am more curious about the person of Igor Berkut, the leader of the Great Ukraine political party, a native of Yenakiyevo, a businessman who has long and fruitfully worked in Kazakhstan and Russia (he himself claims that he has a business in Ukraine as well). The real name is Gekko, but for political work he took the pseudonym Berkut. The Great Ukraine party was registered in 2006 after a long and stubborn resistance from then Minister of Justice Roman Zvarych.
We are mobile phone contacted Mr. Zvarych to ask why he did not want to register “Great Ukraine”.
I don’t remember all the details, he said. – After all, then we daily made decisions on some parties, but my claims in the “Great Ukraine” consisted in the fact that its program documents contained goals and objectives that did not imply the preservation of the sovereignty and state borders of Ukraine.
It is not known for sure whether the party corrected the program, or whether the minister was replaced, but in 2006 Great Ukraine was registered and became a political party.
I turned to experts close to Viktor Yushchenko. Well, they must know who ordered the anti-Ukrainian and anti-presidential book. “We don’t know for sure, most likely the Russian special services, the GRU, the FSB,” they answered me.
The biography of Igor Vitalievich, who calls himself a “former spy”, and now a successful banker, fits into three lines. He graduated from the Moscow Combined Arms Command School, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, where he commanded a reconnaissance company and where he went of his own free will. The last place of service of Igor Gekko wasCentral Asian Military District . After the collapse of the country, he refused to swear allegiance to another state, resigned. We will not analyze and dig into how in 1991 he won a grant to study in the USA. Later, Igor Vitalievich and his American partner resell this bank to Sberbank of Russia (Russian business publications mention this), during the same period they talk about the purchase of Metrocombank in Moscow by Igor Gekko. And now, on the official web page of the bank, the head of the board of the bank in the capital of the Russian Federation is the brother of Igor Vitalievich Valery Gekko. And the head of the board of directors of the Kazakhstan branch of the bank – Igor Vitalievich Gekko himself .

In 2001, before the elections in Verkhovna Rada Mr. Gekko appears in Severodonetsk, takes the local newspaper under his wing and puts forward his candidacy in the 112th single-mandate constituency. Interestingly, Gekko scored 20.8% and finished in second place. But then a scandal followed. The press wrote that in 2001 he did not earn a penny in Ukraine. Since one of the requirements of the law for candidates for deputies is permanent residence in Ukraine for 5 years before the elections, this led to a number of proceedings. Then the Ministry of Internal Affairs accused Gekko that he lived in Kazakhstan and had at least two passports. During further proceedings, it emerged that he had illegally obtained Ukrainian citizenship. In 2003, about the citizenship of Gekko, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan officially applied to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, which tried to find out on what basis a citizen of Kazakhstan was registered as a candidate for Ukrainian deputies. Over time, the scandal subsided. Everyone was busy with the presidential campaign.
In 2004, Igor Vitalyevich was a participant in the “Civil Initiative” action and seemed to even sympathize with the opposition candidate Viktor Yushchenko. However, already in 2005, Gekko “disappointed” in the leader of the orange. In the same year, he created the Rodina-East movement, which began operations in Luhansk and the region. The project is now closed…
In 2005, Igor Vitalievich was registered by the Central Exhibition Commission as 15th issue of the Evgeny Marchuk Block, a member of his own party “Freedom” in the parliamentary elections in 2006.
The press writes that in early 2007, Gekko announced himself in Kyiv, initiating one of the first referendums on the resignation of Leonid Chernovetsky. This initiative gained a second wind in the winter of 2008. Together with him, representatives of Mikhail Brodsky, the Klitschko Bloc and other political forces attended a press conference against Chernovetsky.
They say that in 2008 the party was taken under guardianship by David Zhvania. Whether this is true or not, we don’t know. Since Igor Vitalyevich’s public defense of David Zhvania in the latter’s “passport scandal” cannot serve as confirmation of their cooperation. But now Igor Berkut is on the radar again. It is not surprising. The country smells of elections.

We visited the round table, the main participants of which were Igor Berkut and the co-author of the book mentioned above, Roman Vasylyshyn. General impression of Igor Vitalievich? He is not without the charm of masculinity … Big growth, a scar on his face, an open face, his speech is simple, but thoughtful, with facts. The rhetoric is anti-government, but not openly Vitrenkovian. Scolds mostly irresponsibility of the President. Scolds that the National Security Council is headed by a female gynecologist and that the civilian Minister of Defense does not understand military equipment. He scolds the current electoral system for closed lists, for the impossibility of democracy, for the fact that in Ukraine the real winner of the elections will still not be able to take part in government. He scolds the authorities for the fact that in Russia, for example, Mordashov (head of Severstal) pays more than 440 dollars of tax per ton of steel, while in Ukraine Akhmetov pays only 140. Is this fair?
I, unable to stand it, interrupted somewhat impolitely:
Is that why you do business exclusively in Russia and Kazakhstan?
Igor Vitalyevich, with impeccable restraint, replies that he also has a business in Ukraine, and then he talks in detail and reasonably about the success of reforms in Kazakhstan.
In Ukraine, all TV channels belong to five or six families, he continues.
Well, in Russia, all TV channels are in the same hands, – I continue to taunt, – so five or six owners are not so bad … After reading your book, we assumed that your sponsor is either the FSB, or the GRU, or similar near-Putin structures … The GRU loves such names – “Great Gagauzia”, ”Great Adygea”, by analogy “Great Ukraine” … But recently they started talking about David Zhvania being related to “Great Ukraine”. Could you clarify for us who is the financial sponsor and political father of the Great Ukraine project? I asked.
Igor Vitalyevich smiles encouragingly, tells how difficult it is in Ukraine. He comes to Ternopil, and there they refuse to talk to you until you express your position on the second state and NATO, and how difficult it is to campaign in Donetsk, where they don’t want to talk to you if you are not a “regional”.
You may not believe. But I am not from the FSB and not from the GRU, and what does Zhvania have to do with it?

You had serious problems with Ukrainian citizenship in the last elections. Are you sure that you have a passport of Ukraine and that you are a citizen of this country?
Igor Vitalievich answers without a shadow of indignation:
I have nine passports by profession. And there were twelve in general, three had a statute of limitations. This was necessary for the safety of my family. But yes, I am a citizen of Ukraine.
After the press conference, Igor Vitalievich was approached by a pensioner and a pioneer – they invited him to cooperate and expressed support. And in this, in general, a clear story, I was missing one link. For me, this is a deeply secondary matter – which of the local top politicians does Mr. Gekko-Berkut work part-time and what tactical tasks he solves. Soon the elections, everything will become clear.
But it is obvious that he is in the service of another state. Why, the very name of the Great Ukraine project was not invented in Ukraine. Ukraine is not particularly interested in “greatness”. We are not Gagauzia and not Russia. Ukrainians do not have such ambitions – to be “great” (but poor), it is enough for us to be a strong, prosperous, European power, and not “great”. A bank account and clean streets are more important to us than having a nuclear bomb. Any Ukrainian-mental resident of our country will understand this.
By the way, in the newly published book, Berkut and Vasilishin praise Putin for his response to the “Chechen terrorist attacks” – the explosions of houses in Buynaksk, Moscow and Volgodonsk. While it is no secret to anyone that these explosions thinking people have not been considered “Chechen terrorist attacks” for a long time. According to the Western community, the mentioned explosions are only a stage for a “small victorious war” conceived by the Kremlin political strategists in order to raise Vladimir Vladimirovich’s rating before the first presidency. The book scolds Mikhail Khodorkovsky, but for some reason forgets how Putin’s friends dismantled the best Russian company, Yukos, piece by piece.
It seemed to me that Igor Vitalyevich most likely did not read the book itself. Its main writer, co-author is Roman Vasylyshyn ( former member People’s Rukh of Ukraine), who offered to exchange Putin for Yushchenko at a press conference and said that “Ukraine can crumble like a rotten deck.” He has an ambiguous reputation among the old Rukhites.
Rukh from the very beginning of its foundation was literally “stocked” with Russian agents, Yaroslav Kendzor said in a commentary to UNIAN. – I think Vasilishin is one of them. He somehow got into the trust of Gennady Udovenko, who headed the party. And then, when his goals became obvious, he left Rukh under pressure. But now, with the advent of this anti-Ukrainian book, it is clear who he works for.
… As for Berkut, the question is really interesting: why did he need to acquire a Ukrainian passport and take part in Ukrainian elections? Can you imagine taking yourself by the hair, pushing yourself into a plane and flying to some Severodonetsk, imitating that you live and work there? Why so much effort? Why spend so much money on PR? Why abandon the banking business in Russia and Kazakhstan for the sake of Severodonetsk?
An epoch-making event at the beginning of 2017, which the Ukrainian media did not even mention in passing, was the landing in the port of Odessa of the first group of immigrants from Israel, led by the former Soviet military intelligence officer Igor Berkut, who is now revered by many Jews around the world as “Mashiach Ben Yosef” .
Igor Vitalyevich Berkut (real name – Gekko) was born in 1964 in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, where he spent his childhood. Probably, during the years of study abroad, he was recruited by the Israeli special services (otherwise, further events in his fate simply cannot be logically explained). Then he worked in the banking and financial sector, where he made a very successful career. Organized and led the party “Great Ukraine”. He wrote the book “The True History of Ukraine”, where he sets out his own version of the events that took place on the territory of our country, starting from 142,000 BC.
In January 2017, a group of 183 Jewish pioneers arrived in Ukraine from Haifa (Israel) on a ship to lay the first stone in the foundation of the so-called Heavenly Jerusalem on the fertile southern Ukrainian land. This event marked the beginning of the practical implementation of the grandiose Jewish civilizational project “Heavenly Jerusalem” (also called “New Jerusalem”), which, according to its organizers, will be implemented on the territory of 5 regions located in southern Ukraine: Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Nikolaevskaya.
It is assumed that the next object may be the Crimea. It is known that under the Bolsheviks, the Jews already intended to create a Jewish republic in the Crimea, the project was considered from 1924 to 1944. Now they, having strengthened during the period of “democratic reforms” and enlisted the support of a number of Jewish figures in the leadership Russian Federation Apparently, they intend to bring the matter to an end.
After all, as I. Berkut explains, according to the teachings of Kabbalah, the number 5 means harmony, development and the possibility of self-improvement; and the number 6 is the acquisition of an eternal home.
From the speech of Igor Berkut himself – the executive director of the project to create the main center of world Jewry on the territory of five southern Ukrainian regions – it became known that by 2027 “New Jerusalem” should become a center of prosperity for the Jewish settlers, built on the technologies of the 7th economic order ( see video below).
Enormous money and decisive breakthrough technologies for the “Heavenly Jerusalem” will be given by the largest banking houses and the world’s multinational companies, most of which, as is well known, are owned by Jews. The “Heavenly Jerusalem” project is a practical response to the predictions of the well-informed political heavyweight, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and the late Palestinian prophet Sheikh Yassin, that by 2022-2025 the settlement of Jews in the current territory of Israel will become impossible due to the aggressiveness of the surrounding Muslim population, natural anomalies and the coming cataclysm of the “Battle of the End”, predicted by the prophet Daniel.
According to Igor Berkut, an advanced group of Jewish settlers under his leadership has already begun in the most active way preparing the infrastructure to receive the first hundred thousand Jews. Their arrival and resettlement on the territory of the “New Jerusalem”: Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Nikolaev regions, is expected until mid-2018. And in total, by the end of 2022, 6 million Jews from Israel and more than 12 million from Russia, the USA and the EU countries are expected to arrive in the New Motherland.
The management of the “New Jerusalem”, when it is officially announced (after the adoption of the Law on Decentralization of Ukraine), will be entrusted to the Board of Benevolents, consisting of 12 leaders. Here is the final composition:
A native of Kyiv, Golda Meir, the 5th Prime Minister of the State of Israel, was declared Honorary Eternal Head of the Council.
B. Netanyahu will become the chairman-premier, after the end of the powers of the prime minister in the State of Israel.
The Speaker of the Council will be the former President of the Russian Jewish Congress Evgeny Satanovsky.
The finances will be managed by the former head of the US Federal Reserve, Ben Shalom Bernanke.
Defense issues will be in charge of the current Minister of Defense of Israel, a native of Chisinau, Avigdor Lieberman.
The secret services will be headed by the Moscow-born former head of the Nativ Bureau for Relations with Jews of the USSR and Eastern Europe, Yakov Kedmi.
Foreign affairs will be in charge of the Moscow-born political scientist and publicist Avigdor Eskin.

The chief rabbi is supposed to appoint an ethnic Ashkenazi Khazar version of the appearance of this branch of the tree of Israel.
Literally everything has been thought out, up to the creation of analogues of the Soviet organizations of the Octobrists and Komsomol members. As conceived by the organizers, residents of any non-Jewish nationality living on the territory of the “New Jerusalem” will be asked to take the appropriate exams to obtain a certificate officially confirming that this person is not an anti-Semite. This document will give the right to work in the government agencies of the new Jewish state, the rest of the “natives” living there will be given a cash allowance so that they can survive without problems and do not engage in crime. Dnepropetrovsk will be the official capital, and Odessa will be the cultural capital.
Reflections on the New Jerusalem Project
According to astrologers, according to the so-called “Law of Changes”, the arrival of the cosmic energies of the year of the red rooster (01/28/2017) heralds the beginning of a new stage in the cycles of history. At the same time, the cycle itself starts in 2020 (according to the Eastern calendar, the year of the white rat). And in general, apparently, the very next few years will become a turning point: a radical change in the mindset of the masses, the way of life of the elites, the very system of power and the political course of the heirs of the USSR from the current “admiration for the West” to “self-reliance”.
As a consequence, this will inevitably give rise to a wave of changes with a powerful amplitude. A wave that naturally, first of all, can sweep away the main conductors of such projects to change the world order, which have already brought almost the entire planet and our country, in particular, into a state of the deepest systemic crisis.
Something tells us that the described Jewish plans will not be able to come true. They’ve got a start, yes. However, the beginning alone does not guarantee a successful completion. As they say, the Jews propose, but the Almighty disposes.
However, this does not mean that one can sit back and wait for the Lord God (Almighty, Higher power, History, Space, Noosphere, etc. – whoever likes it) will correct the situation, and direct it for the better. You have to fight for your future. And first of all, by raising our own level of general literacy in the broadest sense of the word. Then people will be more difficult to manipulate and the project, like the one described above, will not be successful. It should be understood that now people are actually being constantly brainwashed through most of the leading TV channels, magazines and newspapers, owned by you-know-who.
Igor Berkut says: Ukraine-Israel: one nation, one destiny…» Is it true? As is well known, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and nationalities live on the territory of Ukraine. How many of them are ready to agree with such a statement? How many of them are ready to start studying the basics of Judaism and pass the relevant exams in order to receive a certificate from Jews who arrived from Israel, giving them the right to work in their native Ukraine? Why does the “former spy” need Severodonetsk?
I will not speak for a long time about the book, in which the probable scenarios for the dismemberment of Ukraine are described with particular voluptuousness. I am more curious about the person of Igor Berkut, the leader of the Great Ukraine political party, a native of Yenakiyevo, a businessman who has long and fruitfully worked in Kazakhstan and Russia (he himself claims that he has a business in Ukraine as well). His real name is Gekko, but for political work he took the pseudonym Berkut. The Great Ukraine party was registered in 2006 after a long and stubborn resistance from then Minister of Justice Roman Zvarych.
We contacted Mr. Zvarych by mobile phone to ask him why he didn’t want to register Great Ukraine.
I don’t remember all the details, he said. “After all, at that time we made decisions on some parties every day, but my claims in Great Ukraine were that its program documents contained goals and objectives that did not imply the preservation of the sovereignty and state borders of Ukraine.
It is not known for sure whether the party corrected the program, or whether the minister was replaced, but in 2006 Great Ukraine was nevertheless registered and became a political party.
I turned to experts close to Viktor Yushchenko. Well, they must know who ordered the anti-Ukrainian and anti-presidential book. “We don’t know for sure, most likely the Russian special services, the GRU, the FSB,” they answered me.
The biography of Igor Vitalyevich, who calls himself a “former spy” and now a successful banker, fits into three lines. He graduated from the Moscow Combined Arms Command School, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, where he commanded a reconnaissance company and where he went of his own free will. The last place of service of Igor Gekko was Central Asian Military District. After the collapse of the country, he refused to swear allegiance to another state, resigned. We will not analyze and dig into how in 1991 he won a grant to study in the USA. Well, the man was lucky… The fact is that Igor Vitalyevich returned from there as a junior partner of TEXAKABANK, which was registered in Kazakhstan.
Later, Vitaly Andreevich and his American partner resell this bank to Sberbank of Russia (Russian business publications mention this), during the same period they talk about the purchase by Igor Gekko of Metrokombank in Moscow. And now, on the official web page of the bank, the head of the board of the bank in the capital of the Russian Federation is the brother of Igor Vitalievich Valery Gekko. And the head of the board of directors of the Kazakhstan branch of the bank – Igor Vitalievich Gekko himself .
This citizen is engaged in political activities in Ukraine sporadically and still to no avail.
In 2001, before the elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Mr. Gekko appeared in Severodonetsk, took the local newspaper under his wing and put forward his candidacy in the 112th single-mandate constituency. Interestingly, Gekko scored 20.8% and finished in second place. But then a scandal followed. The press wrote that in 2001 he did not earn a penny in Ukraine. Since one of the requirements of the law for candidates for deputies is permanent residence in Ukraine for 5 years before the elections, this led to a number of proceedings. Then the Ministry of Internal Affairs accused Gekko that he lived in Kazakhstan and had at least two passports. During further proceedings, it emerged that he had illegally obtained Ukrainian citizenship. In 2003, about the citizenship of Gekko, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan officially applied to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, which tried to find out on what basis a citizen of Kazakhstan was registered as a candidate for Ukrainian deputies. Over time, the scandal subsided. Everyone was busy with the presidential campaign.
In 2004, Igor Vitalyevich was a participant in the “Civil Initiative” action and seemed to even sympathize with the opposition candidate Viktor Yushchenko. However, already in 2005, Gekko “disappointed” in the leader of the orange. In the same year, he created the movement “Motherland-East”, which began its activities in Lugansk and the region. The project is now closed…
In 2005, Igor Vitalievich was registered by the Central Exhibition Commission as 15th issue of the Evgeny Marchuk Block, member of his own party “Freedom” in the parliamentary elections in 2006.
The press writes that in early 2007, Gekko announced himself in Kyiv, initiating one of the first referendums on the resignation of Leonid Chernovetsky. This initiative gained a second wind in the winter of 2008. Together with him, representatives of Mikhail Brodsky, the Klitschko Bloc and other political forces attended a press conference against Chernovetsky.
They say that in 2008 the party was taken under guardianship by David Zhvania. Whether this is true or not, we don’t know. Since Igor Vitalyevich’s public defense of David Zhvania in the latter’s “passport scandal” cannot serve as confirmation of their cooperation. But now Igor Berkut is on the radar again. We visited the round table, the main participants of which were Igor Berukt and the co-author of the book mentioned above, Roman Vasilishin. General impression of Igor Vitalievich? He is not without the charm of masculinity … Big growth, a scar on his face, an open face, his speech is simple, but thoughtful, with facts. The rhetoric is anti-government, but not openly Vitrenkovian. Scolds mostly irresponsibility of the President. Scolds for the fact that the National Security Council is headed by a female gynecologist and that the civilian Minister of Defense cannot distinguish a dot from the moon, and a daisy from a tulip. He scolds the current electoral system for closed lists, for the impossibility of democracy, for the fact that in Ukraine the real winner of the elections will still not be able to take part in government. He scolds the authorities for the fact that in Russia, for example, Mordashov (head of Severstal) pays more than 440 dollars of tax per ton of steel, while in Ukraine Akhmetov pays only 140. Is this fair?
I, unable to stand it, interrupted somewhat impolitely:
Is that why you do business exclusively in Russia and Kazakhstan?
Igor Vitalyevich, with impeccable restraint, replies that he also has a business in Ukraine, and then he talks in detail and reasonably about the success of reforms in Kazakhstan.
In Ukraine, all TV channels belong to five or six families,” he continues.
Well, in Russia, all TV channels are in the same hands, – I continue to taunt, – so five or six owners are not so bad … After reading your book, we assumed that your sponsor is either the FSB, or the GRU, or similar structures near Putin … The GRU loves such names – “Great Gagauzia”, ”Great Adygea”, by analogy “Great Ukraine” … But recently they started talking about David Zhvania being related to “Great Ukraine”. Could you clarify for us who is the financial sponsor and political father of the Great Ukraine project? I asked.
Igor Vitalyevich smiles encouragingly, tells how difficult it is in Ukraine. He comes to Ternopil, and there they refuse to talk to you until you express your position on the second state and NATO, and how difficult it is to campaign in Donetsk, where they don’t want to talk to you if you are not a “regional”.
You may not believe. But I am not from the FSB and not from the GRU, and what does Zhvania have to do with it?

You had serious problems with Ukrainian citizenship in the last elections. Are you sure that you have a passport of Ukraine and that you are a citizen of this country?
Igor Anatolyevich answers without a shadow of indignation:
I have nine passports by profession. And there were twelve in general, three had a statute of limitations. This was necessary for the safety of my family. But yes, I am a citizen of Ukraine.
After the press conference, Igor Vitalyevich was approached by a pensioner and a pioneer who invited him to cooperate and expressed their support. And in this, in general, a clear story, I was missing one link. For me, this is a deeply secondary matter – which of the local top politicians is part-time Mr. Gekko-Berkut and what tactical tasks he solves. Soon the elections, everything will become clear.
But it is obvious that he is in the service of another state. Why, the very name of the project “Great Ukraine” was not invented in Ukraine. Ukraine is not particularly interested in “greatness”. We are not Gagauzia and not Russia. Ukrainians do not have such ambitions – to be “great” (but poor), it is enough for us to be a strong, prosperous, European power, and not “great”. A bank account and clean streets are more important to us than having a nuclear bomb. Any Ukrainian-mental resident of our country will understand this.

Travels of Russians to the Holy Land in the 19th Century
ABSTRACT This article focuses on three main aspects: the presence of the Holy Land in the Russian literature of pilgrimage, the creation in Palestine of Russian institutions, and the representations of the Holy Land in Russian architecture. By doing that, this article aims at analyzing how personalities of the Russian cultural, literary and religious world spoke about the Holy Land in the 19th century (the so-called ‘Russian Palestine’), while pointing out the value of pilgrimage to the Holy Land for the Russian Orthodox tradition and also recalling the important element of the representation of ‘Jerusalem outside Jerusalem’.
In this essay the author examines the disappearance from official Russian discourse of the idea of Muscovy as the New Israel. She suggests that it may partly be explained in relation to his opponents’ accusations of blasphemy against Patriarch Nikon for naming his monastery on the River Istra as New Jerusalem. These accusations were made in the context of apocalyptic rumours about Nikon as the Antichrist, and about the imminent appearance of the Antichrist in Jerusalem in 1666. The decisions of the Church council of 1666–1667 – including its repudiation of the idea of the Third Rome – seemed to many Old Believers to confirm prophecies about 1666 as the date of a third and final apostasy from the true faith, after the Great Schism of 1054 and the Union of Brest of 1596. The ideas of the Third Rome and New Israel persisted among some Old Believers; but unlike the idea of the Third Rome, which was re-interpreted in the 19th and 20th centuries as evidence of Russian messianism and imperialism, the idea of the New Israel has been comparatively neglected.

An amazing researcher / whistleblower, former pharma and medical device R&D executive Sasha Latypova has recently confirmed and furthered our research on several topics. Here’s a fragment from a recent Substack post:

Note: the only journalist I am aware of in either “mainstream” or “resistance” who mentioned Fosun was Naomi Wolf, kudos to her. I was in touch with The Epoch Times to try to publish this information, and even they decided to bury the story (but they published my other materials). I did discuss this on Dr. Jane Ruby’s show, and kudos to her as well for not being afraid to cover the truth.
Below is the timeline of some of the key investments and R&D deals I was able to identify from public SEC shareholder disclosures, immediately preceding and following the “pandemic”:

The same document describes a data sharing agreement, “pharmacovigilance” globally among the 3 parties. They will count the bodies and share the data with each other:
On the “pharmacovigilance” aspect, there is a 4th participant in this arrangement – the Israeli Ministry of Health, which entered into a data sharing agreement with Pfizer on January 6, 2021 and gave Pfizer (and by extension, US DoD and anyone who controls it, BioNTech and anyone who controls it, Fosun and anyone who controls it, i.e. CCP) access to all their citizens’ centralized electronic health records. But don’t worry, Benjamin Netanyahu promised to keep the data de-identified. Right.
Side note – Israeli government recently “misplaced” the Manufacturing and Supply Agreement with Pfizer mentioned in the data sharing agreement above (so we know for sure it exists). The government sadly cannot find it for some reason…
This gets even larger and more interesting when looking at the sources of “R&D” financing. Turns out, there were numerous financial backers and co-investors in the BioNTech “venture” in the years preceding the global fraud and mass murder exercise. According to Crunchbase, BioNTech, a tiny company with just a handful of employees and NO PRODUCTS or scale manufacturing, raised $1.7B in 9 rounds of investments since around 2008. Large portion of the money, $1B+ was raised before 2020. What was it for, since no big clinical trials or scale manufacturing was happening then? That’s a good question, worth examining at some point. Cursory review of some of the investment rounds indicates wide and very international involvement of a variety investors from US, Europe, UK, Australia, South Africa, mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore among others. These likely included many government actors: “sovereign” funds, pension funds and the like who often do these investments by allocating money to “private venture funds” (limited partners in a private venture funds are confidential). Maybe I will do a separate article on this at a later date.
Note, many people ask me “what about China and Russia?” when I talk about our own government and DoD engaged in mass genocide of Americans. I answered about China – they are allied with the US DoD on this. The CCP is profiting from the financial windfall of the US government printing dollars and throwing them into the mRNA furnaces where they are driving masses of the brainwashed citizens to suicide themselves. China claims to use “traditional vaccines” – if you believe what the Chinese say, I have a bridge to sell you.
I have not seen evidence of any similar alliance with Russia. This makes sense, because ultimately this boils down to the war of US vs Russia using proxies and alliances (as it always does). This does not mean that Russia are “the good guys”. Simply that the owners of Russia (whoever they are, not necessarily based in Russia) disagree with the owners of the US (whoever they are, not necessarily based in the US). Russia is running the same “covid script”, using knock off RNA/DNA injections, probably buying materials from the same suppliers, and also using war to kill off their own younger population. In the wake of the Pittsburgh ‘Tree of Life’ synagogue mass shooting, in October 2018, President Donald Trump demanded that the death penalty be “brought back” for anti-Semites. Only Bolshevik Russia had such a law.
This evil antisemitic attack is an assault on all of us, it’s an assault on humanity. It will require all of us working together to extract the hateful poison of antisemitism from our world. This was an antisemitic attack at its worst. The scourge of antisemitism cannot be ignored, cannot be tolerated, and it cannot be allowed to continue. We cannot allow it to continue. It must be confronted and condemned everywhere it rears its very ugly head. We must stand with our jewish brothers and sisters to defeat antisemitism and vanquish the forces of hate. When the Jews invaded and usurped power in Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution, one of the first laws they passed was making antisemitism punishable by death. This law was necessary because the ethnic Christian Russians began noticing that all the bolshevik revolutionaries were jewish and they spoke Yiddish, not Russian.

1.IS IT TRUE that in 1941 and again in 1942, the German Gestapo offered all European Jews transit to Spain, if they would relinquish all their property in Germany and Occupied France; on condition that: a) none of the deportees travel from Spain to Palestine; and b) all the deportees be transported from Spain to the USA or British colonies, and there to remain; with entry visas to be arranged by the Jews living there; and c) $1000.00 ransom for each family to be furnished by the Agency, payable upon the arrival of the family at the Spanish border at the rate of 1000 families daily. 2.IS IT TRUE that the Zionist leaders in Switzerland and Turkey received this offer with the clear understanding that the exclusion of Palestine as a destination for the deportees was based on an agreement between the Gestapo and the Mufti. 3.IS IT TRUE that the answer of the Zionist leaders was negative, with the following comments: a) ONLY Palestine would be considered as a destination for the deportees. b) The European Jews must accede to suffering and death greater in measure than the other nations, in order that the victorious allies agree to a “Jewish State” at the end of the war. c) No ransom will be paid 4.IS IT TRUE that this response to the Gestapo’s offer was made with the full knowledge that the alternative to this offer was the gas chamber. 5.IS IT TRUE that in 1944, at the time of the Hungarian deportations, a similar offer was made, whereby all Hungarian Jewry could be saved. 6.IS IT TRUE that the same Zionist hierarchy again refused this offer (after the gas chambers had already taken a toll of millions). 7.IS IT TRUE that during the height of the killings in the war, 270 Members of the British Parliament proposed to evacuate 500,000 Jews from Europe, and resettle them in British colonies, as a part of diplomatic negotiations with Germany. 8.IS IT TRUE that this offer was rejected by the Zionist leaders with the observation “Only to Palestine!” 9.IS IT TRUE that the British government granted visas to 300 rabbis and their families to the Colony of Mauritius, with passage for the evacuees through Turkey. The “Jewish Agency” leaders sabotaged this plan with the observation that the plan was disloyal to Palestine, and the 300 rabbis and their families should be gassed. 10.IS IT TRUE that during the course of the negotiations mentioned above, Chaim Weitzman, the first “Jewish statesman” stated: “The most valuable part of the Jewish nation is already in Palestine, and those Jews living outside Palestine are not too important”. Weitzman’s cohort, Greenbaum, amplified this statement with the observation “One cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Europe”.

Nahum Goldmann, one of the world’s foremost Zionist figures, died Sunday night. He was 87 years old.
Dr. Goldmann was hospitalized here last week while taking a cure in this small Bavarian spa. He was suffering from heart and circulation troubles, but the cause of death was not disclosed.
In Israel, The World Zionist Organization said Dr. Goldmann would be buried in the plot reserved for Zionist leaders on Jerusalem’s Mount Herzl. The funeral was scheduled for Thursday.

Dr. Nahum Goldmann was a major figure in Zionism for the last half-century and the chief architect of the pact pledging West Germany to pay reparations to Israel and to individual Jews for acts committed during the Nazi years.
He was the founder of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations and for many years president of the World Jewish Congress, which he helped to organize in 1936. Born in what is now Lithuania and raised in Germany, Dr. Goldmann first visited Palestine in 1913. He became an ardent and active Zionist, which led to his having to flee Germany in 1934. His intense involvement with Jewish issues and with Israel continued throughout his life.
Last month he created a stir by calling upon Israel to lift its siege of Beirut and to extend official recognition to the Palestine Liberation Organization – a position subsequently repudiated by the executive committee of the World Jewish Congress.
Dr. Goldmann regarded himself as a diplomat, but successive generations of Israeli leadership found him an irritant, partly because of his outspokenness. He also saw in himself, and particularly in the World Jewish Congress, an alternate voice for Jews around the world, a voice other than that of Israel, in whose establishment he played a major role. Except as it concerned the Jews of the Soviet Union, Dr. Goldmann maintained a basic neutralism in East-West quarrels, a factor that also provoked criticism at times. Warned of Dangers of Nazism
In a 1981 interview in Le Monde, Dr. Goldmann said the great failure of his life was that ”I failed to convince the Jews of the dangers of Nazism before it was too late,” although he was warning of these dangers as early as 1932. Later he called for a boycott of Nazi Germany by the Western democracies and in 1938 he suggested a five-year plan for the resettlement of most of Germany’s Jews.
He said that only Dr. Stephen Wise, the influential American Reform rabbi, and a few others had heeded his warnings about Nazism. It was with Dr. Wise, who had created the American Jewish Congress, that he set up the World Jewish Congress. He was president of this group for many years, from 1951 to late 1978. He also served for some years as chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, and was president of the World Zionist Organization until 1968.
Another regret he expressed frequently was that he had not been able to convince David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first Prime Minister, to postpone the proclamation of the state of Israel for a few weeks beyond May 1948. He believed that some sort of understanding might have been reached that could have avoided the war with the surrounding Arab countries that followed. ‘As a Child I Was a Zionist’
In his autobiography, he wrote: ”I can hardly say when I became a Zionist. Even as a child I was a Zionist without knowing it.” Despite his commitment to Israel, he refused to become an Israeli citizen and become part of an Israeli Government.
”I wouldn’t have won in Israel,” he said in an interview in Moment magazine. ”And that’s why I declined the invitation to be in the first Cabinet.” But inevitably he became involved in Israeli politics.
One of Dr. Goldmann’s major convictions was that ”there can be no future for the Jewish state unless agreement is reached with the Arabs.” He said that, like any other politician, he sometimes changed his mind, but that this was ”one stand I’ve always taken since I was 17.” The term ”politician” was one of his own words of self-description; another phrase he sometimes used to describe himself was ”unarmed anarchist.”
He received a law degree and a doctorate from the University of Heidelberg, and, starting in 1922, was the co-editor and publisher of the 16-volume Encyclopedia Judaica, the first Hebrew-language encyclopedia published in Germany. In 1929, he became a member of the Executive German Zionist Action Committee; in 1934, he became the liaison officer with the League of Nations for the Jewish Agency for Palestine. He moved to the United States in 1940, and served as the agency’s director in Washington, D.C., during World War II. Later he lived in Europe, maintaining a residence in Paris, and in Israel. Negotiated Reparations Accords
He played a major role in convincing the United States Government to back the formation of a Jewish state by lobbying effectively for partition. ”If things had not gone that way,” he told Le Monde. ”I doubt whether the United Nations would have finally voted for a Jewish state.”
Of all his accomplishments, one that is certain to be remembered, although it aroused bitter disagreement at the time, was his negotiation of the reparations agreements committing both West and East Germany to pay reparations to victims of Nazism and to Israel. By the beginning of 1982, the amount of reparations paid and anticipated to be paid by West Germany totaled 85.8 billion marks, or $36.3 billion. There were no reparations paid by East Germany.
Dr. Goldmann had called for reparations as early as 1945; it was 1951 when negotiations with the West German Chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, finally got under way. Even then there were some Jews who felt that neither individuals nor Israel should accept any German money. The first claims were made in October 1953. Efforts at Diplomacy Thwarted
Twice, efforts at private diplomacy by Dr. Goldmann were thwarted. The first time, in 1956, a private meeting between him and President Gamel Abdel Nasser of Egypt was the victim of the Israeli invasion of Sinai. Then, in 1970, he accused Prime Minister Golda Meir of Israel of having ”torpedoed” another possible meeting with President Nasser. The Israeli Government said he was not a valid spokesman for the nation; President Nasser denied extending any invitation.
The incident angered some Israelis, and there were protest demonstrations. Dr. Goldmann had not previously been a particularly popular figure in Israel, but the growth of ”dovish” sentiments made his views more widely acceptable.
Dr. Goldmann was born in Wisnewo, in what is now Lithuania, on July 10, 1895, the son of Salomon Goldmann, a writer and teacher, and Rebecca Kwint Goldmann. They moved to Germany when the boy was young; he went to school in Frankfurt, going on to the universities in Marburg and in Berlin before receiving a law degree from Heidelberg in 1920 and a Ph.D. in 1921. In 1934, he married Alice Gottschalk. They had two sons, Michael and Guido.
Fluent in six languages, Dr. Goldmann was an inveterate reader who like to consider himself a spokesman for the Diaspora – all those Jews who do not live in Israel. He maintained, as he said in 1964, that Zionists ”do not owe any legal or political loyalty to Israel,” adding that the major objective of Zionism is ”to instill in the Jewish people an attachment to Israel as the great center of Jewish civilization.” Criticism of Israel
Later, he said that ”in the long term” he was worried about the future of the Diaspora and Israel because of increasing assimilation, mixed marriages and the ”indifference of many intellectuals.”
But he felt free to criticize Israel, saying in 1981, ”I can only say it pains me to see the discrepancy between the noble ideals of Zionism and the realities of present-day Israel.” Not until Israel was at peace with its Arab neighbors, and a ”neutral state guaranteed by the great powers” – a suggestion he had made previously – only then ”will it really become a spiritual and inspirational center for the Jewish people throughout the world.”
In 1961, he stumped for the new Liberal Party, attacking Mr. Ben-Gurion’s Mapai Party for its inability to make peace with the Arabs. The next year, after being chided by Mr. Ben-Gurion, he agreed publicly not to speak out on Israeli foreign affairs without consulting the Government. He had angered the Government, too, in 1960, when he suggested that the trial of Adolf Eichmann be held by an international tribunal and not by Israel alone.
Quite short, with blue eyes, a wealth of silver hair and an aquiline profile, Dr. Goldmann was a devotee of classical music, Bach in particular. He frequently described himself as a ”goy” -the Yiddish word for a Gentile – and explained in the Moment interview: ”What I meant was that I am not stubborn, I am not a fanatic, I am flexible, I understand the other fellow’s point of view, I am tolerant, and that’s not the Jewish character.” The Jewish people and the dream of a Jewish state were, however, the abiding center of his life and work.
